Each time I hear the voice of Joseph Hill, I became so emotional. It reminds of the good old days in the 1980s, how we used to enjoy his reggae music, especially from the albums: Nuff Crisis, Harder than the Rest, Culture Cumbolo, 2 7s Clash, Lonely Lover, International Herd and many more. I get emotional because almost my boyhood friends passed on. Half of them could not even make it to the new millennium. At times, I play Culture's reggae music just to remember and pay tribute to them. MYSRIP Joseph Hill.
Listening to Joseph Hill this morning and my spirit is lifted by his music. One the greatest man of reggae with trailer load of messages that will outlive generations to come. Live on Mr. Hills.
Culture may not have won a Grammy, but what they've given from the blessings of Jah is priceless, for what's said may not be remembered, what's felt is never forgotten. Jah rastafari

So happy to find this on RU-vid. I was fortunate enough to see Culture live in the late 1970s at the Rainbow theatre, Finsbury Park and in Bristol (the nightclub opposite the Bridewell Police Station, can't remember what it was called - Romeo & Juliet??) went backstage after the show and met the band, lovely bunch of guys. This music will never get old, it has a timeless quality and lifts the soul. RIP Joseph Hill.
