:Exploring Abandoned Anything can be dangerous or Deadly without experience. I don't encourage anyone to enter any Abandoned structure. Not only is safety a concern, but often times its illegal and when possible, i seek out permission from the owner or local police. I simply go to document its history before it's gone forever and leave things the way I find them. I only take pictures and only leave footprints. I assume all the risks & responsibility before doing this. Please don't attempt to do this on your own. Their could be nails, Asbestos, Falling concrete soft floors, animals or other hazards. It looks like they built the place over the stream so they could use the stream for refrigeration. That was really cool to see!

Love the video -my sis lives up in Northern Indiana and lives in a beautiful home -their country road floods and they close it during heavy rains -their county is surrounded by 3 big rivers -I say there’s a culvert problem or lack thereof -she says there’s a creek close to her house and I told her to go investigate it -anyway I just want to go up there and explore -thanks Post 10 for all your helps and advice

Just had a major downpour at menards. I work as a carryout and I decided to unclog a drain covered in tons of leaves, as trees surround the lot. Had to stand on top of 2 carts because my boots kept flooding lol (about did the splits 3 times). It was like 6 inches of water and that drain had the biggest whirlpool I've seen while I was pushing down the leaves that seemed to never stop coming.

I tried. Took a road trip from central Ohio to Eastern Ohio for the weekend. The area I stayed in had cabins and a lake. While exploring the lake I came across a cement culvert at the lake spillway. I thought to myself I can pretend to be Post 10. I eased myself carefully down to the entrance to the culvert. Water level was low but slipped on a few rocks. Bent down into the culvert and did a holler to hear my echo. Pretty cool. I forgot my black socks. :)

Very odd to build a wooden structure over a stream like that, really cool but surly it was always risky. I wonder if it flooded while the shop was open? Maybe that’s why it was abandoned. Living in The midlands of England quite a few buildings built on the rivers next to weirs & lock gates have tunnels with water flowing underneath them. I think they were the lock keepers houses, and those culverts may have housed water wheels. Either way they are all made from stone so have lasted hundreds of years, pretty cool.
