A good weeks worth of sunshine meant out came the baler to make traditional small bales of hay on a Cumbrian fell farm. Rowing up ahead was an immaculate 2wd Case-International 956XL and Claas Liner 2700 rake followed by a few of the farms long-time residents, an International 885XL (the favoured baler tractor from the fleet) International 445 baler and a Cooks flat-8 accumulator in tow behind. A type of outfit similar to this would have been a common sight in the fields 30-40 years ago so it was a pleasure to film a similar kind of setup in 2023. The stunning backdrop of the surrounding fells was just the icing on the cake!
