We need a racing game that’s only about badass diesel trucks like these beauties. I need to do what I can’t afford to do IRL and that’s roll coal and kick smoke
2:10 what is causing that, "raspy" noise? Sounds fucking phenomenal. I've been comparing 24v vs 12v sounds for when I get my new truck (it'll strictly be a dick around project truck) and I think I'm leaning more towards the 24v. 12v does have that nice trucky sound that I like, but overall the 24v sounds better imo.
My 05 cummins sounds like that too. Only thing that was done to it was a banks ram air intake horn and a tuner. Oh and a 4” straight pipe. I just put 30% over injectors in mine and it’s still raspy with more smoke 🤟
I’ll say this, I like the sound of my common rail 5.9 wayyy better than my buddy’s old truck that was a 6.7 cummins. His just … idk. Sounded too airy if that makes sense. No grunt
Someone who can provide me with information to be able to modify my truck in this way, I thank you very much in advance, greetings from Ecuador friends
Delete custom tunes bigger injectors turn up the injection pump with modifications if needed or tunes if it can support the hp your going for. Deck the block and heads maybe put new pistons in it if your gonna be abusing the truck. Definitely add studs maybe some fire rings in the heads but that’s a sketchy one. Maybe buy amsoil and throw that in there. Injectors, lift pump. Easily an additional 11,000$ in parts and labor
Burnouts don't make smoke so what looks like the white smoke is vapor just like you boiling spaghetti but if you just lit a tire on fire it would instead create black smoke because it's burning.
All these trucks must be modified or there's something wrong with mine because I'm stock on 35s its a 07 5.9l and it's slow and can't come close to any of these
lol, all of them definitely have upgraded turbos, if not compound turbos, upgraded fuel system, probably different cams, head work done, full emissions deletes, and tuned to make some real power (or to roll a bunch of coal). I mean, I had an 08 that was completely stock with the 6.7 and 68RFE and it could burn out. Of course it had emissions intact so it didn't blow black smoke at all.
Yeah, my dads truck is a 2007 Cummins (I think) and it wasn't this strong before he got it. He put a whole new engine in that boy and a fricken dual turbo I the front with other things.
