Yes. That's the purpose of using it. The gas bench only measures NOx and ignores the ammonia. Once you know the true NOx out the tailpipe, you know exactly how much ammonia is escaping too. Without too much trouble you can see if you have low DEF injection, bad NOx sensors or a bad SCR.
