imagine being Pat. get home late. see the family then go to sleep. set alarm for like 9am and just wake up the next day, nice little breaky and just take a deep breath. king of the world. thanks for the entertainment and pride lads. well bloody done.
Great respect for Mitchel Starc, winning 2 worldcups. To play 3 world cups for australia in a decade and winning 2 world cups must be really satisfying.
Pat always respect Starc these two are the best bowling duo and along with Hazelwood 2015 ODI WC,2021 T20,2023 WTC and ODI WC along with 2021 2023 Ashes they literally achieved everything
Having Watched Aussie cricket for more than 3 decades, I haven't liked any captains attitude more than Pat Cummins. No arrogance, man of a few words and an ultimate professional
Winning Is In The DNA Of Australian Players They Are The Real GOAT, Pat Cummins Is An Outstanding Player And Captain The Way He Led His Team Throughout The Tournament And Specially In Finals That's So Commendable I Completely Got Impressed From Pat Cummins Captaincy He Should Also Doing Captaincy For ICC T20 World Cup Because Pat Cummins Would Be The Right Choice For T20 Captaincy As Well
Pat Cummins is such a good captain..balanced,level headed and humble off the field and a tactical genius on the field..Aussies should be very proud of him..
Especially in the finals, he bowling like he was possessed. To get Shreyas in his first over and then Kohli after he was set was thanks to his great discipline and accuracy sprinkled with a bit of luck. Australia were brave when it mattered the most and most of their plans came off perfectly. If Head would've nicked one of those swinging deliveries of Shami or Bumrah, we wouldn't be here talking about Pat. It could very well have been a different story.
I Never ever Remember any bowler standing Up and earning that tag of Captain and winning key icc trophy. Pat Cummins changed lot of streotypes that bowlers can be great Captain too.
And the beauty is, this team, assuming the 2015 CWC people are still here next year for T20Is, does not have 'greats' in it like the Border, Waugh, Ponting teams had.
I dont think people fully understand the absolute set of stones on this bloke and to do it with absolute class the whole time . . . I have been a great admirer ever since he took over the captaincy from Tim in really sudden fashion . . whilst continually being criticised for doing his own way, for his political views, for being a "bowling" captain . . . and through it all he holds just about every major achievement for a cricket captain there is in a little over two years . . . give this man and his team the credit they richly deserves and get a fucken parade going for god's sake
"whilst continually being criticised for doing his own way, for his political views, for being a "bowling" captain" He has NOT been criticised for doing anything his own way. He was NOT criticised for his personal political views, he was criticised for _pushing_ his personal political views into cricket and onto the fans who watch sport to escape politics. He was NOT criticised for "being a bowling captain", people simply questioned if fast bowling and captaining is too much for one man to handle and excel in both. Thankfully, he has decided to (for now) leave politics out of cricket and we are all better off for it. And thankfully he has clearly answered the question regarding bowling and captaining.
@@jimlaw8199not you with the tired “leave politics out of sport” 😂😂😂 politics is always involved in sports, and always has been. It’s because of politics that you get to watch cricket - FOR FREE - on free to air tv. “Sport is an escape from politics” is just right wing code phrase for “I hate that his views are getting a big platform”. If it was an issue you agreed with, you’d have no problem with it. Him being captain and winning all these tournaments is making his haters so mad 😂😂😂😂
You think they could have chosen a better spot to interview Pat and Mitch, at the base of some stairs with all the clanging noises in th backgroun. That bloke could have got out of shot while Pat was talking.
Australia have won 6 world cups.. In 2 wc they were unbeaten (2003, 2007)... In 2 wc they had lost only 1 game (1987, 2015)... In 2 wc they had lost 2 games (1999, 2023)...
Pointing as a Captain was so hungry to win that I always hated him as Indian. Now after all those years I believe he was the best Captain Aussies got. Respect to ponting as 2003 memories returned 😢😢
Remember this team has brought Australian cricket to the pinnacle of pure skill, hard work and talent. You seen Harry Potter? well guess what the first 11 Is all Harry potters in my books. Pure wizardry so much so the Australian public doesn’t know how to comprehend such spirit. The power of belief is nigh
2023 the year belongs to Australia Women's T20 World Cup ✅ Retained Women's Ashes ✅ Men's 50 over World Cup ✅ Retained Men's Ashes ✅ World Test Championship ✅ If Australia wins 2024 T20 World Cup it will be another amazing chapter to their cricket history ❤
Isn't what they have achieved this year enough, no matter what they achieve it's always if they get one more. Hopefully Pakistan and South Africa are a good challenge for the side, after such a one sided series last summer.
You beauty, ❤❤❤ well done boys on keeping the Indians quite. After the semi final debacle on changing the pitch when New Zealand played but anyway Indian fans are still crying. 😂😂😂😂😂
Not all Indian fans...don't think all Indian cricket fans are morons...few neutral fans also there...90% Indian fans thought India won world cup after semis...but few know it is too far😅😅😅
@@Vega-xl7dhsignificant number of Indians on RU-vid predicted either a close final or India's loss including me Those are only BJP supporters who say Everything good about India
@@donna25871 Retired cricketors must mentor sides like USA, Iceland, Ireland, UAE, denamrk, For cricket to expand to other nations otherwise it's going to die very soon because of less competition and interest.
I love how more and more over his career, every time he CAN, he brings his his therapy Starc along with him to the pressers or just any kind of appearances, where he can. I dont really mind his liking his blankey close by though, seems to manage alright on the field even if he doesnt have him, so that's all that counts.
Try to debate it, strongest WC winners team in the 21st century: =1 Australia 2003 =1 Australia 2007 3 Australia 2023 4 Australia 2015 5 India 2011 6 England 2019
Australia and England are frontrunners to win 2024 ICC T20 WC. Dont see Ind and Pak making it to semis especially when their record in WI in ICC tournaments is abysmal. Australia and England tend to dominate these slow conditions
@@anuragchakraborty8766 We are never focused on other sports, so, no worries if we didn't do well in sports, in general. We focus on education and we are the world leader in software industry, for example.
How the heck do the Aussies keep winning. In order to get a good level of cricket in India we got IPL and than the same story as 2003. It’s just horrid to now concede that they are just better at execution.
Love how the donkey politician says “we have won” like bro why don’t you hand back all the tax payer dollars you suck out for your own personal pension every year.
FWIW Baird entered NSW Parliament too late to get a pension (unlike his predecessor, who resigned because of corruption but still gets 150k+ a year from the NSW taxpayer). He's still a grub.
@@AamirKhanPathaan he must be a kid started watching cricket in lockdown 😅that is why such comment.dont bother telling them anything they want to stay in their own bubble.comparing test match to a world cup.People will say anything to satisfy their ego😂
Enjoy mate, but You are not the best in the world. India has hammered you in the last 4 border-gavaskar trophies home and away. They toyed with your so-called best bowling convincingly.
@@AS-hx4ww perfectly put ,dont get theses people the amount of arrogance they have even after losing , rather than learning from mistake, appreciating the opponents . living in their own bubble.
