I think the best thing about this is you don't have to cut it resize the keel like you have to do with a mosquito harness though that is lighter and you maintain that prone position.
I’m in the market for a lightweight part 103 soaring trike set up. The idea of just cruising around under power with such a wonderful wing like the Atos doesn’t do it for me. This video doesn’t demonstrate power off soaring. If the engine was off at some point then a windmilling prop or not having a folding prop robs glide. And your fold forward main gear still sticking in the air flow for little gain. Better off using gear fairings and wheel pants. I like Northwings new Ascender gear folding upwards behind pilot set.
It is a light trike falling into the UL 115 category, it is enough for it, no matter what aviation documents, for example; hang gliders or paragliders. I personally own a Hang Glider and can fly legally and insure my equipment and myself. in Poland, making such permits costs about 1000 €
