Artist takeover, Down Under!
Last week we welcomed one of Australia’s most celebrated artists, David Bromley, on board Queen Elizabeth to create a one-of-a-kind masterpiece. His sailing had only one catch…
David was up against the challenge of completing his oversized painting within only 72 hours as Queen Elizabeth sailed from Melbourne to Sydney.
Painting in the Grand Lobby, the Queens Room, on the open deck and even the bridge, and driven by his extraordinary artistic energy, David rose to the challenge. His finished 4m x 7m artwork, which beautifully reflects the Cunard experience at sea was revealed to guests and media on board.
Parts of Bromley’s masterwork will be on display during Queen Elizabeth’s Australia season before the complete painting will be auctioned off with proceeds going to David’s preferred charity partner LifeChanger Foundation and our charity partner The Prince's Trust.
