Nisan Ak earned a Master of Music Performance in Orchestral Conducting from the Aaron Copland School of Music at Queens College in Spring 2016. As one of the few females entering the male-dominated world of orchestral conducting, Ak is shattering stereotypes and hopes to one day conduct in Carnegie Hall.
