I work in a nursinghome, we were told not to talk about deaths or patients when covid began from administration at facilities literally made us sign agreements and watched our social media accounts to make sure we didn't speak about what was realky happening not cuomo, the facilities never have enough staff before covid and covid made it 10 times worse, the facilities chose ppl over profits.

Soon as the investigation in to nursinghomes, here this comes.Do yall know that the nursinghomes were experiencing multiple deaths as early as September of 2019.At my facility in one weekend in 2019 we had 7 residents die.All had complaints of not being able to breathe.This sex scandal is a ploy to cover up what they are going to truly find out about the owners of the nursing homes and the administrators.I know for a fact we were told that if anyone calls or asks questions about the deaths in the nursinghome, that we were to tell them no comment and that discussing any patients was a violation of HIPAA guidelines.

If a patient dies in a nursinghome the nurse and the patients primary physician call the time of death.If any of the covid patients died but had preexisting conditions such as congested heart failure, that meant at any time the patients heart could fail and cause death.So at least 90 percent of patients in facilities have at least 2 preexisting conditions so if any of the conditions could cause death, covid was never gonna be the cause because the preexisting condition way before covid could have lead to patients demise.Most facilities are own by management companies who are own by investors, so they are investing in the elderly needing care but they determine the budget.Day cares have better regulations than facilities for the elderly, a daycare worker has a limit on kids they care for , usually 6, we can have up to 12 patients a shift to care for and we have to bathed, feed, dress and changee continuously and i have had to take care of 14 patients when we had a bad flu outbreak two years ago and so many caregivers got sick and they couldn't come to work.This sexual harrassment is a smoke screen because most of the management companies who own the facilities support the republican party and the owners would have to answer as well about staffing issues pre covid, never enough gloves and the gloves we did have were so thin, we had to put 3 to 4 pair on at a time, condoms provide better protection than the equipment that we were given and have been for years.Im so heartbroken and disappointed, so many have died and so many are at fault and cuomo isn't one of them.

I am sorry officer, I should have made it more clear that I was only asking for a loan....while I shanked a guy...and took his wallet.

However, the case of thousands of seniors, known to be more vulnerable who lost their lives because he insisted covid-19 patients be sent back to nursing homes is something else altogether. At the very least he should be charged with manslaughter.
