it felt like he knew his deaths will come, and he needed to create something to leave behind, so that the children will not be in economic collapse. What sucks about this is that the grieving period as demonstrated by the show felt inferior to money/capital and the celebrations that triumphed for earning a life-long business. A very weird video in my opinion displaying both humanity and lack of it at the same time.
His invention wouldn’t have done anything for them if they hadn’t been raised well enough to know how to turn it from 2000 back logged boards to a successful business. Basically, the parents did an incredible job.
@@josephdahdouh2725grieving is different for everyone. some people who grieve may not physically show it (such as crying, fatigue, etc.) but that doesn’t mean they’re not grieving. as this original commenter said, the dad is probably very happy that his children are well taken care of while him and their mom are gone. also I don’t think people would bawl out their eyes on tv for the whole world to see, so you don’t see them crying in this video, however, they looked really sad in the og episode they aired in and their voice changed in that. let’s not invalidate people’s grieving experiences, let’s all be a little kinder. just bc they didn’t show their grief doesn’t mean they aren’t grieving. 💗
Mark is such a classy man. the fact he showed up in his own FDNY jacket in support of their dad and the firefighters of the FDNY shows a lot about his character.
So glad to see this update. I tear up every time. You may also want to watch the Everlywell update when Lori holds a party with many of her entrepreneurs for 1 billion dollars in retail sales. The two Cupboard girls are in attendance. These kids are strong and truly inspirational.
I just watched this episode on Shark Tank, and it was so emotional. Thank You to all Sharks for all you've done for this beautiful family. God Bless this family and all the sharks! It's a beautiful thing to see the goodness in all people. Lots of Love. The invention dad came up with is brilliant, and it's something I could use every day.
Just lost my dad in April and he was a firefighter in the Air Force and he worked so hard and poured his heart and soul into his career. His hard work, like Mr. Young, will never not be remembered and honored. This touched me deeply.
I salute to your dad. God knows his hard work. Don't ever think like nobody's gonna remember him or his work. He resides in you. You carry his legacy. You are your dad. All the memories that you spent with him are in you. YOU are your dad. Now remember him, thank God and continue building your legacy so that your dad inside you could be grateful for having such a child.
I hate to say this, but check the reviews. The original is great, but once sharks get involved the quality goes downhill as they get them made the cheapest, cheap cheap way possible. This has been my experience with almost every shark tank product I have bought, unfortunately. Probably better to just donate to their cause imo.
Except Williams Sonoma made a cheaper, flimsier cut board and sells it for 75% higher than the original. The cup falls out just by slightly moving the board. It feels cheap. Their father would not have approved. I threw it in the garbage.
Of course they will do great. They have the expertise of all 5 sharks. Lori alone can sell all their inventory via qvc. They can reduce manufacturing cost, improved the products (like they did) and sell more. Plus the sharks are donating all their returns for sick firefighters. For them 20k each is nothing. But these kids will thrive. The product itself is actually really good and practical.
The lessons from this are so many. - Family is everything- Keep it close. These kids will never fall apart on each other. They are each others best friends. - Use your pain for positive purpose- They could have just faded into the shadows of pain and anger with so much loss at such an early age. - The best way to pay back your parents>>> Give to your community whatever you can. - Never give up> They found a way to keep going and its something they are passionate about. - Good things eventually come to good people regardless of what happens around you. Keep yourself honest, hard working and you will see the fruit. - Its never too early to school your kids on survival skills- Their father kept them in the loop on his work and it was like an insurance he didn`t realize he was setting them up with. -
Amazing stories awesome kids wish and pray for the Best !! especially in your dads dream Thank you SHARK TANK for helping the family. God bless you all. Caring ❤️👍👍
Thr fact all the sharks showed up for the event with the kids is beyond anything I've seen. I didnt expect to cru today lol. I'd love to have another update
I hope these kids have an excellent personnal financial advisor. The sharks are there to help them with their business but not their personal finances. They're all so young and they have lots of money. Having an advisor would help learn how to wisely invest their money.
Never forgotten 🇺🇸💪💕A sincere Thank You to all heroes and their family for your service & sacrifices during 9/11 rebuilding. Always Love & Respect for you🙏
What an inspring group of offspring you three are. The young ladies are beautiful and a handsome young gentleman by their side. Your parents are smiling down on all 3 of you. You have excelled beyond their wishes! Thrive on and keep your parents memory alive with all your work and success. God Bless.
I love this so much. The product,The story, the shark's contribution, the FDNY and to all the people who donated to their go fund me . I wish i live in u.s at the time so that i couldve been one of the first to buy one of their dad's original 2000 cut board.
I cried too... I can relate to losing a parent to cancer at a young age and having to drop everything to spend every precious moment you can with someone with cancer.
I am so sorry for your loss. I can relate. I lost my grandma 2 years ago to her long, painful battle with lung cancer. My grandma was my best friend. We will fight this terrible disease! ❤️
@@keithfreitas2983 hope the Sharks and the family put a copyright on it.....if anyone ever does the same....AFTER the dad created it and started selling it, the bogus person or company will probably receive a "cease and desist" order from the court.
They should have kept the board to the original thickness the board needs to be higher than the cup attachment. I cooked for 30 years professionally, I feel making this board so thin is a big mistake. I hope all involved will consult some professional Chefs and perhaps a Food Service testing facility for future improvements.
I rn know watched Cup board pro episode on you tube, there was other 2 episodes. Want to add my playlist itself video i searched video, and suddenly watched this video. It was overwhelming business ❤. My heart broke
I wanted to say that the outfits THE FIGHTERS use can cause CANCER as well and that is with TODAY'S outfits. God bless All the Hero's and those SPECIALS CHILDREN that saw a dream of their DAD"S through! God bless ALL and a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS and HAPPY NEW YEAR to ALL !
Nah inside job so better keep the basement grift to yourself. & btw SA is best friend that owns big chunk in all major Us companies & literally owns Entire Streets in Austin aka owns all politicians. First change that lol
They say that children are a direct reflection of their parents. If that’s true the parents of these kids must have been spectacular! So well spoken and doing things for the right reasons. I’m so glad they are doing so well but heart broken they lost both parents at such a young age.
Their deal eas incredible. Every single shark invested and all of their equity goes to charity. They haven't taken a single dime from those kids. This money came from their gofundme. They're cutting hundreds of thousands of dollars in checks to charity yearly
its so darn cool that William Sonoma "stepped in" and actually help remanufacture and "enhance" the product......the originals that they had, sold out.
when the originals were sold out, William Sonoma "stepped in" and continued to help REmanufacture the product and sell it in the stores and also give the 3 entrepenuers the rights to obtain more so they also can sell the product.
