Bro on the puppet level the hat is movin way slower for u then it does for me u have all kinds of time to dodge things on that part. Idk if I am just playing a harder difficulty then u or what

Djimmi wasn't the luckiest genie in the world. For eons he toiled under masters who were greedy, evil or just incompetent. Lazy people who just wanted someone to do their dirty work for them. Never did he really have time for any of his own pursuits, nor could he even grant his own wishes. Only one person could save him from his fate: Old Scratch himself. When a wish gone wrong claimed the life of Djimmi's most recent master, the devil came to collect the wretched human's soul...and Djimmi saw his opportunity. He bargained with the devil to be released from an eternity of slaving away under others--not knowing that, by promising his soul, he was in effect entering his own servitude to the devil. When he figured this out, the djinn took to the skies, hoping never to see the devil again.

Hardest thing about this boss is trying to focus on the projectiles and boss while while ignoring the constantly revolving 3d background

Djimmi's face at the beginning is basically the "I fucked up and have no idea what I'm doing" face

Rumor took me 25 minutes to beat. Cala took me 17 minutes. The Devil took me 16 minutes. Djimmi took me ONE FUCKING HOUR

That robotic ass laugh. It gives me chills every time

I love the shoot em up bullet hell stages. Djimmi is my favourite just because of his creativity.

It could have been a cool easter egg for pc versions if typing "I wish for your defeat" emptied his health bar. Maybe at the cost that you get a low skill rating for beating him that way.

The sound effects of the game is amazing! Wondered how they got the sounds done. My favorite one for this boss is when he's meditating

Djimmi was like any other genie/djinn, forced to serve an endless number of masters for all eternity, most of which were greedy, cruel or outright incompetent. He grew tired of this, he wanted to end this cycle of misery, and his day finally came when the Devil struck a deal with him, setting him free from his lamp. Djimmi later became famous for his magic tricks and the joy he brought most people. This was his passion, using his powers in various magic shows to dazzle his audience. He also developed a smoking problem, but, being an immortal genie, this had no effect on his health. The Devil later asked for Djimmi’s soul, but he refused, escaping from the Devil and never showing up to Inkwell Hell again. He was his own master now, and he would never return to a life of slavery ever again.

I didn't know Bill Cipher was in this game.

Seeing "A KNOCKOUT!" on this boss made me so happy.

Ngl,If we ever get cuphead season 4, I hope we get to see him and maybe his cuppet will be a real life puppet.

Djimmi reminds us all that the Djinni are not your friends,nor are they your butler or maid. They are beings of smokeless fire that when crossed, will kill you with a smile on their face and a song in their hearts.

Pro tip I found with this fight. On the second phase hold shrink and engage the pillars as soon as they appear on the right. The second phase becomes a cakewalk and you don’t lose any health.

For all of you who are wondering, the cuphead shaped smoked does not do damage to you, you can fly right though it.

For some reason, When he uses the chest his animation really makes me want to wipe that face of off him

Personally, I don't love this guy but I get why others do, I love the background of this and how this guy got his soul captive to the Devil, beats me

The worst phase for me was the puppet. I kept dying there

I'm stuck on the Puppet bit. Not only is the background distracting but you have to dodge attacks from both the Puppet and the Turban at the same time.

I went to a talk where the guy who created the desert prop was actually there with it. It is a legit maze you can try to solve.

i like the background for this stage a lot, the weird 3d landscape and small town that you're circling around is a neat contrast to the rest of the game's backgrounds

Phase one is luck based. The daggers are easy to avoid, and the easiest to parry, the treasure is the hardest to dodge, and sometimes I miss a parry, and the cats are also pretty hard to dodge if you don't know how to deal with them, and the hardest to parry, since the pink ones are sometimes overlapping regular ones.

I had to pause the game when i saw the animation of the sarcophagus leaving at 1:01 . Couldnt hold my laughter

The sarcophagus one is pretty simple if you find the blind spot. You can stick to the top right corner right beside the coffin and drop missiles from there. The main concern here would be the ghosts which will be relatively easy to dodge from here. Your Welcome.
