Seeing the Esther Winchester softlock glitch and not seeing her there really made me admire the background a lot more since it was something I've never paid attention to until now.
@Olivia Herrera you must have heart ring or cursed/divine relic equpped. Then get a parry that gives you extra health during the phase transormation. When this happends, cuphead will turn pink breifly. If you're pink when chef saltbaker grabs you, you stay pink for the rest of the phase. Idk if it carries over to phases 3 and 4 though, never actually did the glitch because it's tricky to pull off.
One time while fighting Ribby and Croaks, I got hit by the frog platforms right after using chalice's super art 1 and chalice stayed in the same pose until I parried the handle and the animations went back to normal, but for some reason I couldn't be hit. No idea how to replicate it.
It doesn't work anymore probably but to anyone wondering, the esther winchester softlock is activated by dealing too much damage and it is unknown if it is a glitch or something that disables the glitch cuz in beppi if you did deal too much damage you could skip all phases
I noticed this one more recently but if you do super art 1 as chalice on the angel devil boss, hitting the devil during his flame pillar animation keeps him stuck in the animation, idk if it works while he is on the right side tho

Watch this! (Blows up from a furnace and dissapears)(A few minutes later)(Does the magic trick again but DIES) Fourth Glitch: CHEF SALTBAKER USES 100% OF HIS POWER Fifth Glitch: Thanks Saltbaker. I'm pink my favorite color. WAIT, WHY DID YOU TURN ME WHITE?! I hate white! THAT'S IT! I'M DONE. (DIES)
On PS4 I found a glitch while playing ester Winchester where in the last phase, the hotdogs were gone, and I was so happy because she took me over a month to beat.
There’s one where if you pause right before glumstone is about to eat you, you disappear and glumstone will be stuck with his mouth open. And there’s another one in Esther Winchester where in the final phase if you pause right before she spits the jalapeños she will either stop spitting them or one of the sausage links will disappear leaving you with only one link.
The cala maria softlock is skipping the second phase! IDK How the winchester one happened! But this try i was speedrunning! So maybe i skipped the phase
You need to have the heart ring charm, so when saltbaker is gonna grab you, you need to parry something and get health up. When you're getting HP up you're pink for a half second and when he grabs you, you're staying pink. I've never tried to see if it's possible to make another player to parry the pinked player

I just got the Cuphead + DLC bundle, but this kid looking like felix the cat's saying I got some noodle arms so when I've beat up every boss in the base game as Ms. Chalice, I'll kill him and take your helpful words into consideration! But trying out if you can parry a pinked player would be cool, if it hasen't been patched yet. Fingers crossed, I geuss?
@@antoniob6143 Okay, but it will be months away, like 6 or 5 cause I kinda suck. But Ms. Chalice is OP, so maybe 4-7 months However long, I'll tell you. Oh, have you tried to parry the mushroom that Saltabker eats to grow and pick us up? I might try that, too.

Dying to one of the Anteater's flying cloud balls during the fake knockout makes the game show the snail's quote as well as the anteater's defeat pose being stuck in the background. Shooting down the last pepper shaker to reach Saltbaker's 3rd phase and dying before it hits will display phase 2's quote despite phase 3 now playing out in the background. Can you add these glitches to a part 2 of this video?
