I treated this game like the actual cuphead game and am trying to go through all the bosses in order. So far, within 1 year of having this game, ive only beaten the root pack... thats it. Hilda berg is a pain my ass. Now that i returned to the game i bought the smoke bomb which is very helpful, i decided to replay the root pack with 20 seconds in order to get the first and second super art, and because i got 2 coins from reolaying the rootpack twice, i spent all 3 coins to buy spread just incase Update: I beat her, but I'm now lost on grim

Did you guys find this game kind of repetitive over time after each boss? I've heard very mixed reviews, so I was curious about your experience?

So far we haven’t and I think it’s because we know what the game is and is trying to be. It’s just fun rolling of dice and each boss so far has added a little stitch. For example the 3rd boss has you stacking your dice to add a dexterity element. It’s a super light game but because the rounds are fast and frantic we don’t mind. That game is great at being the hectic thing it is

I have some ques about this game that I can't seem to find anywhere. It may have been mentioned here already but I might have missed it. 1. Do you use the sand timer tokens at the very start or do you get told to use them later? 2a. Once the rounds over can you choose who starts the card faze when attacking/defending or is it ment to be the same person everytime, (because if this is done tactically you can essentially stop a player losing life,) 2b. On that note do you go around the table checking first card, second card, third card; or does each player run their whole board before the next player?

1. Send timers get added every time you go through the entire boss deck and have to shuffle it. This will simply affect your end score. 2a/b. When you go to resolve your cards everything is simultaneous but going one card at a time. So for example if the boss had three cards that players have to overcome everyone check to see if they succeeded on the first card before moving onto the second card and so on. If one resolving a card the boss gets knocked out that effect takes place immediately and anyone who would have been hurt by that card or future cars is off the hook. Hope that helps!

Yeah that one was rough! Took so long for me to beat it. Weirdly enough the one I had BY FAR the hardest time with was the Bumblebee Queen boss. Whereas Mike just breezed through that one

It’s mostly a light family game about quick dice rolls and decisions. With certain bosses you get other elements like stacking dice and things as well
