Was messing around with this on stream without much luck, but managed to do it earlier today on Expert. Beating this spider fellow of the Moonshine Mob in the Cuphead DLC without using any weapons of my own. Only the police gas rings, and the exploding death uvulas on the battlefield. Unfortunately nothing special happened as a result of doing so, but it's possible!
