That is honestly where Cuphead is weakest, the Run And Gun sections. The gameplay was designed around fighting bosses, not for intricate platforming and fighting off swarms of enemies

Bugs fixed in PS4 and new Xbox patch and on PSN I got it for £12 and was happily surprised that it came to PS4 I was debating buying a second hand Xbox just for this so 👍

Twin hearts actually really helps since to get an s tier you need to finish with an HP bonus of 3 which means you need to beat the boss on 3 HP, so having the twin heart gives 2 extra hit points Which is really helpfull

If you wanna beat the boss in the time limit, which is something you need to get an s rank, then you shouldn’t use twin hearts because it does a lot less damage. I’m guessing you’ve never played lol

I started watching your content a couple of weeks back with the Super Mario Odyssey video, and I've been hooked. I subbed instantly, and have been marathoning all of your content. Because in modern days Dark Souls stands out with its punishing difficulty. Contra is definetly more similar in playstyle and very difficult, but not as famous as Dark Souls or as many of the other classics of the NES

I completed this game in normal mode by myself and felt so proud but I actually found the early run and gun section up the tree the hardest for some reason, almost threw the controller through the screen after about the 40th time.

there is no such option in the game nor in any software, the x-input drivers are not accessible at all. Tried myself, only thing to fix it is changing alot of registry entrys to disable it all together

I'm playing on PC, but in my experience, they only vibrate until you get hit again. So when you die it stays vibrating while the other player is playing, and even while you have restarted level again. As soon as the you take damage again, everything goes back to normal. That is until the bug pops up again. For me this does happen several times during a play session. It is something that needs to be addressed. However it's not something that vibrates until the machine is restarted.

Loved this game. Coming from someone who grew up when you could still see cartoons like this from Disney pretty regular on TV and VHS it is a major nostalgia boner. Absolutely amazing game, go buy it RIGHT NOW if you haven't already.

You guys are nuts. I just don’t have the patience to work my way up to the point at which I could complete a no-hit run of this game. To accomplish that task and then complete a no-hit expert run is just insane. I love the art style of this game but the actual gameplay just isn’t really my thing. I love platforming games but I’m not a fan of bullet hell/run and gun games.

I LOVE Cuphead so much! It's so hard but the graphics, music, concepts, gameplay, and literally everything else are AMAZING! My favorite bosses are the Devil, Grim Matchstick, and Beppi the Clown and my favorite boss theme is One Hell Of A Time (the Devil's music)

A lot of fighting games actually have really good hand-drawn animation, but Skullgirls is definitely the one I point to. Lab Zero's new game Indivisible has also been showing fantastic hand-drawn animation right down to the little touches, and that's not a fighting game so maybe that'll get the recognition they deserve... (Psst, Double reuses a lot of animations)

I got all of the achievements for Cuphead on the Xboxone with no glitches or problems, though i was playing solo so maybe 2 player effects the game somehow (also noting Jesse cox lost his saved data for inkwell isle 2 and he was playing co-op with Crendor)

ZeroKirby honestly hes a tough one, Id say just try to get that meter up ASAP. When his eggs go close to him start bombing him. Also remember to always keep watching the rotation of his eggs so you know when to turn smal and dodge

Fun fact: If you use a heart or twin heart charm, it doesn't count towards your health in the end screen. You can take the heart charm, get hit, and still get a S

The extra heart(s) from the extra heart charms are great, but they decrease your attack. I'm pretty sure normal heart decreases by 5% and twin heart decreases by 10%. This makes getting hit less of an issue, but time becomes your main enemy because you aren't doing as much damage.

Mickeys Wild Adventure on the PS1 was the first game I know to do this "old cartoon" style action platformer. And it is nice to see someone trying this again with more modern hardware and techniques. Hopefully I will be better playing this than Mickey, I did not play that game well at all.

This episode was genuinely funny and upbeat. It's truly a best episode! You and the guest bounce off perfectly. Usually Girard is the serious one and guest is goofy, but having someone anchor Girard's enthusiasm is lovely. Little funny editing was so cute and hilarious too!! Such as shame I decided to watch it this long after

Just so people know this, you don’t have to beat a stage without getting hit once to get an S rank. You just have to HAVE 3 HP left after the fight, making the extra heart charm very useful for certain bosses.

17:46 I too faced issues while playing the game. It usually happened when I played the game for long time. The whole computer would just start slowing down and the game would appear wonky.

Lucky for me that i only care about trying to 100% games if it got trophies or achievements. The Switch version wont have any of that so that saves me plenty of frustration.
