This DLC is the very embodiment of the phrase "quality over quantity". Every boss in it is brutally difficult, yet also phenomenally enjoyable, and they all bring something new to the game, especially with all the environmental changes most of them have! Hats off to MDHR for a short and very, very sweet... 🎶 *DELICIOUS LAST COURSE!!!* 🎶

"Brutally Difficult" I definitely think the DLC is fun, but not difficult. None of the bosses are harder than Dr. Kahl's Robot or the Bee boss, and I was able to beat everything in under 2 hours.

That horse knight has the cartoon like walk I've ever seen since Goofy. And I love. God this DLC is art. And the girl the Rook is daydreaming about looks like Betty Boop, right down to the hair and earrings. Edit: the dog plane fight final phase scared me, jeez that disorienting. And while do many characters lose their heads? Edit: Saltwater is the worst. He's looking directly at the player, not Chalice. The the pure manic joy on his face is scary. Then he's killing/ hurting sentient food, and seems aware of it. The fact that you can see his shattered body. Eyes empty but still smiling in the back. Then those pillars of salt with various evil/ pained faves, which turn to agony when you KO. That's actually depressing.

The moonshine mob boss is the first dlc boss i tried to attempt, as soon as i beat the anteater and saw the new knockout screen, I thought that I beat the boss for sure. The snail managed to get a free hit on me because I let down my guard. It was a funny suprise. I still manage to beat the boss. Also love the little cough the announcer does before shouting KNOCKOUT. These little details are so charming

The Tournament Challenge bosses are my favorites hands down. Really cool little theme with the chess pieces, and a unique take on fighting with only dodging & parrying allowed. Loved the Rook boss best of all with the endless severed heads & general creepiness. The animations are adorable and so clean, the music is great. Despite never having heard of this game until these past few days, I've loved this content and can now say I'm a definite Cuphead fan!

Holy mother Of elder kettle! Four years well worth the wait! Every single boss in this DLC is a treat for the Eyes and senses! The phases the body language the music the loose improvisation animation style that we’ve all come to love and everything being so smooth and full of life! The developers clearly only had one intention when making this DLC and that was to make us happy and this is one of the happiest a game has ever made me ever it’s that good! Bravissimo to all of the developers who worked on this masterpiece! Although it kind of scared me because this is only a plus. Imagine trying to face these guys on expert mode. Good Lord. I can’t wait to see these guys in the TV show if they ever become a thing!

Very age appropriate too, considering how unsettling and experimental Fleischer animations used to be. Also one would think that a cook in a world full of anthropomorphic sentient food would be like a serial killer and they just rolled with the concept to it's maximum potential.

Fun fact: the spider is based on a gutted boss called “The fling gentleman”, the beetle after the spider is based on a cutter boss called “the light” and all rhe cess boss fight are based on a cutted mini boss called Jelly the octopus

The Esther Winchester battle is almost kind of sad because it gives me flashbacks of Wally Warbles from the original game tbh because they're both animals who were victims of being cooked into meat and it feels kind of bittersweet to see them getting beaten by yourself and you feel kind of bad. 😪😞😔

Funfact: The attack at 8:18 is a reference to an unused boss known as The Light. His attacks functioned exactly like these beams.
