Does it actually seal against the bonnet when closed.. Its sold is generic induction kit for the S3 Golf R and Cupra. So my point is how do they managed to sell a kit that seals against the bonnet on all these vehicles and if it doesn't then surely it will suffer heat soak?
@@jspecmx I've just got the Cupra ST 300 2019 and I'm looking to do a few bits to it. The OPF makes the exhaust note seem way too soft so looking at cheaper alternatives to make it sound a bit better 😁
Ah, I’ve got it on a A3 1.8 tfsi maybe its slightly different. It just ended up with a tight bend from the engine side i dont know if that will block airflow but I’ve had it on for day and it seems fine so far
@@yousafsyed1442 same problem on my leon 1.8tsi. I cant make it reach the take-off on the filter pipe! Had to order a longer hose which is coming tomorrow
Hi it is a ram air jet stream. I believe the current version has a different shape filter, but essentially the same thing. Progressive parts have it on a deal for Black Friday now.
I don’t honestly know what size you refer to. I ordered from progressive parts for my specific car and it came as is. If you give the guys at progressive parts a call they will tell you exactly what you need for your car.
