Your review videos are really good; Coherent and comparable through all reviews. Good pace and calm presentation. And most importantly; Most of key parametrics. I suggest you review the boot space in liters and usability and rear cabin space (by sitting behind the drives seat with your settings). Gl and keep 'em coming!
Nice straightforward review 😁. I've had a 58kwh Cupra Born (not e-boost) for 18 months (in the UK) - averaged 3.8 miles per kilowatt over a full year. Varies dramatically with the weather, from ~3 m/kwh in the winter to ~4.2 now as we approach summer 😂. Sorry, not sure how this translates to kilometres. It is a very nice car to own and drive. But, I will say EVs are not for everyone 😂.
I much prefer the look of the cupra born to the id3, but are they planning on doing a performance version? one that appeals to those that would go for the cupra r, golf r or audi s3 and the like. seems like they're missing a trick if they don't do a hyper hatch version because there's loads of golf r's about so surely there's a market.
@@ItsOnlyElectric had a look at that, that's still only a hot hatch, I'm on about a proper performance version. They don't seem to want to try the golf r market with an ev
Then it needs to get a proper AWD version. Dont see that coming for the ID3 or the born yet. No proper performance cars in the EV lineup from VW in sight..
I had loads of problems with AC and DC charging rates on mine. They have a battery safe guarding “feature “ which impacts 75/80% of overnight charging giving about the same as a granny charge of a normal wall socket (3.5kwh). DC never hit web site statements!
@@ItsOnlyElectric Did/Do you have problems with DC charge speed? I tried everything including warm car on warm day at FastNed 350 and couldn’t get it to peak at the rate it would need to average to achieve the stated 5-80% in 35 minutes. My experience was 50-55mins which is way too long given range you get off 75% of a 58kwh battery
It does, but it suffers the same issues as WV initially had and as far as I know there is no new version with an updated drive train. The software seemed to be more stable, but maybe this was just luck when I was looking into that car.
@@ItsOnlyElectric If the price is right it can make a difference, but I think it will suffer the same fate as other WV ID series - too little, too late.
I thought this is some VW Golf/ID... Stellantis, VW Group - their models are going to look like siblings: the same except minor stylistic differences.😬I'm sorry to Opel, Lancia, Alfa Romeo...
Hello 👋🏽 is the Born getting the new electric engine and infotainment screen and software as for the ID line up at some point? I’m also surprised that the gear selector is still on the instrument cluster, which makes me think the screen is still the small one I’m not so into Cupra as a brand, so I’m not aware of the updates to be honest But as always, thanks for the review 🙌🏼
@@ItsOnlyElectric ok, sounds nice. Looking for you to test it then 😊 I can see the channel growing, hope the pace will speed up. That would be nice for you 🙌🏼
