Rozaly has been documenting and collecting the lost music history of his island over the last few years. Travelling between different former Dutch Caribbean islands to get a broader image of the development of the islands' discography. Channeling all findings through RANSON: Curaçao Music Heritage Archive. Buying old radio and DJ archives, tracing down artists and re-releasing lost gold. All with the aim of preserving and enriching identity and lost heritage for the generation of tomorrow.
A 45-minute journey through Curaçao in the '60s and '70s. A selection of lost 45s from a period in which the island had a big influence on Latin music worldwide. A special spotlight on label-owner and showbusiness man Angel Job. Who pushed styles like Salsa, Montuno, Tumba and Tambú on the island.
