I like how all these years later, there’s no reason at all for Leon to still be living w/ Larry, but the character is so funny they just stick with it.
We all need a friend like Leon. Has your back all the time, tells you how it is, and hypes you up! But also moochs off you and you can never seem to get rid of...
Larry was a multi-hundred millionaire so he could afford to sponsor a live in BFF and it worked out for both of them. If I had the money I'd sponsor Leon too.
@Willem DaFuckedUp That's Pretty Rough..Being Born n Raised in ATL I Cant say that's not Harsh..My G Ma is Cherokee and she put the Blade on my Auntie's Dad and maybe my G Dad a few times but it boiled up over time but to catch a Blade from a Fast Snappy talking Broad from NYC should be an Honor 🤷🏽♂️😅
Lmao 😂 and Leon is so sure and convincing of himself in his blatant bullshit rants that it just seals the deal with the conversation or arguments!! Lol shock and awe effect I guess... but pure comedy gold that makes me laugh 😂 till I hurt!!!!
“ couldn’t have been mine, I bring the ruckus to the ladies” 😂😂😂 this show was incredible laughter entertainment. All of the character actors were perfect for their roles. Top notch! Could watch all episodes a million times. And I think I have. Simply brilliant Mr. David. 😊👍👍👍
From a black man’s point of view: we like watching the exchanges between Larry and Leon because it’s fun to imagine a world where two men of different races can openly and honestly share their experiences and quirks without prejudice and racial filtering. The two men seem to genuinely enjoy one another as human beings who just happen to come from different communities and economic backgrounds. Imagine that.
Literally I came to the commons to see if anybody else loves this moment, I watch this moment back so many times because it just cracks me up the fact that Larry copies Leon.
Best conversational flavouring use of "muthafukka" and "muthafukkin" I've ever heard in film or television. I heard in a Stern interview that JB Smoove knows a guy like this, and it just flows out of him. I had no idea who he was, but he was very sharp. And of course I knew of the popularity of _Curb._ Which led me here.
"Why you order these CD's outta those magazines, and you send em next door to the neighbour, and then when the UPS guy comes you pick em up like you live there and shit?" - Leon LOL
I don’t know how Larry David ever got through a take without laughing with this guy! It’s a miracle that this show was ever even made once J.B. Smoove was cast!
I always swore there would never be a better show than Seinfeld....BUT I don't know, Curb Your Enthusiasm comes pretty damn close. All praise to LD!!! ...and Leon, and Suzy.
Larry and Leon are wonderful together. Larry says so many inappropriate things and so does Leon. Larry is slick and bold but Leon takes everything to the next level. I love it. When Larry told Leon about the person that he thought was a skinhead, I fell out when I heard Leon’s response. I couldn’t stop laughing. He is ridiculous but I loved it. It helped Larry. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
This is great! Never fails to crack me up. Missing one of the best Leon moments with the mixed up cell phones: "Black man doing his thing baby, Barack Obama, I'm the president of hitting that ass!"
God I loved Leon ....This man is so funny, he needs his own sitcom. He was good on the millers but they canceled that. He can carry a show all on his own
Larry went through hell with Cheryl, but when Leon and him got together it was amazing since then. Remember fellas, your true bros always have your back.
