I fucking love Susie, her feuds and relationship with Larry are so hilarious. This show wouldn't be the same without her. "Stop scratching your balls!" God, she kills me especially how she says it.
I remember introducing a friend of mine to Curb and he didn’t take to it right away and when he watched the terrorist scene he just lost it and was like “Alright, I get it. This is f’n great and there’s nothing else like it.” I’m like “Right?!?” Shortly thereafter he got into Seinfeld as well.
You probably are unfamiliar with Lenny Bruce's famous routine. He's trying to establish the difference between "what's Jewish and what's 'goyische' (Gentile)", so he begins two lists to try to show the dichotomy. He says, "Take desserts: strawberry cheesecake is Jewish...lime jello is goyische... ITALIAN is Jewish; Greek is goyische..."
@@ligayabarlow5077 I know there's something about her though she definitely attractive in this video I haven't seen her lately so I don't know what she looks like
And that's LD's downfall: He won't leave things alone that he feels have been said or done improperly, and he won't shut up about it once he starts on a tear. I guess that's funny because the rest of us were taught (and accept) the notion that it isn't worth arguing about something if someone veers from the norm. You might disagree with their position, but you don't confront them. But Larry just can't let it go, and he never realizes the impact this has on his personal and professional lives. If you were there with him when he began his tirade, you'd probably say (under your breath), "Shut up, Larry, let it go". As he continued, you'd tell him again, "Shut up, Larry". If, after a short time he continued to confront the other person and the situation had escalated, you'd find yourself telling him, "Hey, Larry, I just remembered I've got a thing I have to go to, so I need to leave." And then you'd go, as the situation had become uncomfortable for you and the person he disagreed with. It had become a battle of wills, and Larry always digs himself a hole he can't climb out of to regain his dignity. Unfortunately, Larry never seems to understand how inappropriately he's behaving; there are no immediate consequences for acting in this manner. As a result, nothing changes. A lot of this comes from how we dealt with things as children, and whether his parents discouraged such behavior. Apparently, his parents didn't actively try to correct him. Perhaps that's how they dealt with life, and saw nothing wrong with it; they may have even encouraged it. Each time he would engage in yet another awkward situation, I would think, "What a shmuck!"
holy shit, i’m the only one to comment. ok, I should probably take this chance to say something polarizing. I don’t like bacon, i mean i tolerate it, but i don’t really care for it. i honestly don’t understand the obsession. it’s way too salty, and i love salt. i’m irish american so im all about steak and a baked potato with a pound of salt, but bacon’s just too much. RIP screw
The 2nd clip the dude explaining it went 3 times longer setting it up than the actual clip and kept wiping his nose maybe she should have waited before taking blow up his damn nose...
I always liked MYs outburst as he says stuff like 'fart', but then pretty quickly crescendos to slip 'cunt' in, but they to climax with 'balls' I thought was excellent behaviour and very English.
Sgt. Bilko? That show sucked. I think famous people give these misdirections so people will not learn their secrets. Larry did not learn how to be funny from the fuckin' Bilko show. And if Larry thought the Bilko show was so great, he would also have liked Hogan's Heros and McHale's Navy - but Long-Ball scratchin' Larry is a Long-Balled Liar.
