He hasn't even aged THAT poorly. He looks about 70? For a 62 year old that's fine. A year ago Jeremy looked 60. Considering Jeremy hasn't had the healthiest of lives I'd say that's about right
you can tell he is extremely insecure too because normal people dont go around talking shit abt the way other people look, especially to their face. Like he is putting that guy down in order to make himself feel better
Simon looks like someone tried to draw him from memory but they'd been trapped alone in a cave for a year and don't 100% remember how human proportions are supposed to look
It's narcissism. They put others down to feel better about themselves. Once you challenge them, it freaks them out. Unfortunately he was very difficult to challenge for the first 50 or so years of his life. Now that's finally changed.
It's even devaluing to life to say it's "acceptance". We get older, there's no need to accept it, it simply is and it's not a negative. I'm nowhere near those ages, but I am far happier and wiser than I was a decade ago and I'll be blessed beyond belief if I even make it to higher ages.
He raises a lot of money for charity and he hasn't had any major scandals as far as I know. Hes a bad person because he says what he thinks and got bad plastic surgery?
There's something very beautiful about a person whose comfortable with the reality of change and doesn't require validation from society on his/her appearance to feel good about themselves.
@@tiahnarodriguez3809It's not vanity. Men work out to attract women. You wanna call it shallow when men want to self improve to find love, but not when women filter out men by height and muscularity. Damned if you do, damned if you don't. See how far you get with women as a skinny dude
I'm a skinny dude with an absolutely beautiful woman so idk what the guy above me is talking about. If you are working out to attract woman instead of just improving yourself then you've already lost the plot.
Clarkson looks like any normal haggard 80 -90 year old man. He certainly does not look healthy and like a man in his early 60s unless you have super low standards . However he does not look weird like Simon . I would assume Clarkson is a geriatric on meetting him and Simon was on some journey on meeting him.
Unfortunately Mr Clarkson and Simon Cowell both work in TV and media so as far as no plastic surgery for Mr Clarkson is true; what is also true is that he doesn't give a toss about anything else than himself. At least Simon Cowell has helped hundreds of people. Apart from that: They are both TV presenters. Mr Clarkson has one foot in the grave mentally AND physically, whereas Mr Cowell was at least honest with his face surgery and assumes every aspect of it. He never lied about his surgery and still doesn't. What else can he do ?
Simon went from "playful ribbing" to "genuinely mean-spirited" in record time. Clarkson is usually good about making his guests look like good people, but even he couldn't salvage this one.
It's okay, most people who aren't terminally online are capable of understanding that it's a character. It's only the eternally sensitive that think anyone was being genuinely mean-spirited here.
I’d have to agree with you on this one, it did seem like he was either taking the joke too far and dragging it out or he was actually trying to jab pretty hard with his words. I do feel like it was escalating pretty quickly, from my reading of it.
I never considered an aging person as 'bad looking'. Of course the beauty that they had in their youth is gone but there's some beauty in it. Yes, even Clarkson. On the other hand, plastic surgery survivors haunt me in my dreams
@@hisss its not that bad. The concept is ridiculous but also disturbing in a way. I think the movie would be more disturbing except that it doenst take itself seriously at all. Its pretty much about some old rich guy who captures another guy and surgically modifies him Frankenstein style to turn him into a human walrus
It's not like it's wrong to think that old people don't look good. 100 years ago, it would be rare for a person to live past 40. It's not natural. Nobody is actually supposed to live as long as we do.
I was never aware Simon got plastic surgery. The moment it cut to him post-surgery I reeled back like an anaconda away from my phone. Truly a jump scare.
I don't think it necessarily needs to be a post-surgery footage. After plastic surgeries face slowly deforms. That's why they need to make another plastic surgery sometime later. And the more they modify their faces the more they need another surgery. It is a mix of both, they have deformed faces because of the ammount of modifications, and because faces after surgeries age worse.
@@user-cb1ln8vc8d My mistake. I had gotten him mixed up with Tim Curry. He did this to himself. But he was in an accident. But it had zero effect on his face.
@@bdawg1118i mean to his defense, his eye is a lil messed up even in the top gear segment. But man it was exacerbated with the plastic surgery lol. His hairline and everything are all jacked up.
@@alex-c808 yeah ya dont wanna be first in line for a plastic surgery technique. 30 years ago boobjobs looked like garbage, today they do them quite well actually.
@@ots1634he's old, fat and losing hair, but at least he hasn't spent hundreds of thousands of pounds trying to prevent the inevitable, or ironically accelerate it...
I don't think it's the surgeons fault, you can only do so much surgery until it looks bloody stupid. All people with a lot of plastic surgery look ridiculous.
Yes Simon, I too wish I could look like I was stung by several swarms of angry bees and had a severe allergic reaction. Definitely preferable to simply aging like every other human being who ever lived 💀
Surgeon: "So what are you looking for" Simon: "I want to look like I am having a severe allergic reaction to having my face beaten badly" Surgeon: "Say no more"
He technically said "I THINK I look good", and I don't really agree with the sentiment - but it's a definite red flag for self-confidence issues, yeah.
@@hichaelhighersyeah I think of it kinda like someone saying "I wouldn't know, I never make mistakes" in a joking, sorta sarcastic way. I much prefer the "I'm the best and coolest" line of joking to the "I'm the worst and everyone hates me" version, and it can build some good self-confidence. It's good when the joke is on the person pretending to be vain, it's bad when they're putting someone else down to being themself up.
"Aging gracefully" means you age naturally. The people who have all this work done are so insecure about their appearance. The audacity to tell someone that they need to have work done. Serves him right that Simon now looks like a Ken doll who got put in the oven, meanwhile Jeremy looks perfectly normal for his age - and more importantly isn't insecure about it.
@@knightawz Nah, mainly because most attractive people carry their appearance as a crucial part of their identity. If they lose that, they lose a part of themselves.
I mean that’s what Simon Cowell is all about. On AGT his role is to play the bad guy. It’s like telling Ricky Gervais or Gordon Ramsay that they’re mean. It’s kinda his thing. But damn his new face is awful. Edit: If you want to reply to this comment, don’t, because I don’t care, it’s been 7 months and it’s been filling up my inbox. I’m not going to read it or reply back. Whether I’m right or wrong, I really don’t care about what you think of Simon Cowell lmfao
Stfu Clarkson was loving it and does the same thing to others. Simon obviously knew he wasnt hurting Clarksons feelings and that he'd find it funny and good TV
Clarkson just looks elderly and frail - so not cool and Simon looks plastic. I would give the award to Ringo Star who is 20 years older than this pair as the best aged white English man I have ever seen.
@@tristancole8158he looks good lol. Humans usually look good by default settings. He looks exactly how he should look, and that looks good cuz it’s natural(excluding the make up he puts on for the shows)
Yes Simon's Earthly Mother Back Home In Heaven Amen xxxxxxx is awfully upset Simon done this to himself through ego and Souless people badgering him to have just a little here a little there oh darling they wont even know these souless people were saying to him. Well guess what darling we do know and I hope Simon's face goes back to normal Amen xxxxxxx.
I think how it heals is probably largely a gamble with your genetics and these idiots are willing to risk it. Simon was never known for being good looking so I don’t get why he’d do this
He's the textbook definition of a narcissist. His insecurities were going through the roof and he has to belittle everyone around him so he can feel like he's superior
@@andrive Someone should ask him what he would say to himself if he appeared on stage like this before his younger self. Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.
thats not how it works.. the point is that he overdone it, not that the plastic surgeon did something wrong... Simon could not except to look old, now is hold and hideous
Sad to see that Simon has such low self esteem that he had to do that to himself, while Clarkson has never really cared about his looks all that much. He knows sarcasm and dry humour comes at James and Richard's expense, not his age
Something I’ve never been able to figure out since I was a kid is why anybody who has seen what plastic surgery looks like would decide to get it themselves 😂
@@danskyder1564 Whether it's botched or not, if you keep getting more and more of it you will end up looking like this and I don't know why you would do that to yourself
@@jesselee3827 yess indeed it is addictive and you forget how you used to be. Nothing wrong with changing your nose cause you don't like it or a little botox but people let this became an obsession and start playng with them selfs like they ar made of plastic.
Why do people who know someone who went through alcaholism also start drinking? Why do people who know someone who got addicted to drugs also start doing drugs? Why do people who hear about the effects of eating disorders develop eating disorders themselves? Answer pls
There's nothing more attractive than being happy in your own skin. We all age. Some people actually become more beautiful as they grow older. I will never be ashamed of wrinkles, gray hair or anything comes with along with it. Many people die young and are denied that privilege.
Yeah, important to say that thats a reason but not an excuse. Even if you are hurt or insecure you shouldnt hurt others. If anything it should give you more compassion, if you know how horrible it can feel to be very insecure why would you inflict that on others.
And this is why I find it okay to mock his current looks. He's always been awful towards others about theirs and several X Factor hosts have said that Simon forced them to do Botox and plastic surgery.
Simon actually gives off the uncanny valley effect to me, which has never happened to me while looking at another person. I can't even look at him for more than 2 seconds without feeling incredibly creeped out. That's how bad his surgery is.
The thing about Botox and Plastic Surgery is that it's not just the skin that is affected during aging. So when all you address are the wrinkles, it's just smooth skin sitting on top of X years of age. You can tell Simon is over 60 years old but the wrinkles are missing. Giving that uncanny feeling.
Cowell, Leslie Ash (real shame she was gorgeous), that trans character from kardashians looks like a burns victim, it never goes well I dont know who theyre trying to convince but im sure only they fall for it
They are right when they say you'll never notice small amounts plastic surgery. The problem is people who would want plastic surgery never know when to stop.
Celebrities look at all those botched surgeries and still think, yep, I'll do that. Enjoy your looks while you still have them, eat well, exercise and you'll hold on to them a bit longer but most importantly, don't make your physical appearance your everything.
That's because the look they are t rying to achieve is unrealistic. As soon as you cut into the human body in a surgical way, you are traumatizing the body and the mind. not mention anesthesia is terrible for your brain especially at his age. IT's hard to look at lol.
I think the problem with plastic surgery is that in small changes and with a good surgeon, you can actually make yourself look better. However, the problem arises in those subtle changes. When someone gets their first cosmetic surgery, and they like how they now look, they become addicted to modifying their bodies to look even "better" and as all those subtle changes pile up, it turns you into a freak of a human being, and you can't notice the gradual differences until one day you look in the mirror and can't recognize yourself anymore.
Yeah half of top gear was the midget, the fossil and the orangutan making fun of each other like real friends. Being surrounded by people who actually care about you and you can have good banter with it will help you accept yourself for how you are and not be so insecure.
@@snake8534 of course it's important. His healthy and comfortable approach to life is important for everyone to follow, regardless of how much you might enjoy his work or agree with him on other topics.
Tbh I think he’s also awful lol. This isn’t all he’s done, but I’m atheist and I think his views on religion are insanely immature lmao. I agree with many of the teachings of Jesus Christ even if I ain’t a follower. You should try to be kind and caring, loving and compassionate, and charitable to the people around you. Also maybe get some reading glasses and tell me where I said I dislike him because of his views on religion.
Yeah uhh... it's the eyes and the puffy face injections that completely warped his face. Although Jeremy has not aged gracefully, it is still 10× better than not even looking like yourself and having messed up plastic sugery. Also taking care of yourself kinda has to go with trying to look good as you age. Ironicly, Jeremy is the one who stopped smoking, Simon continues. Jeremy used to be a real handsome fella in early top gear, a pitty he let drinks and smoking destroy it. Still the man is a legend and makes me roll over with laughter, and that is all that really matters.
Honestly, looking old doesn't mean you look ugly. He doesn't look ugly, he just looks like someone who lived a long time and his body is starting to perhaps falter a little, and that's okay.
Its actually genetic, hair loss, wrinkles, the teeth. Honestly its so embarassing to have a surgery go bad, and everyone knowing you worry about aging, to the point you look like a monster.
