Another great shopping day. When we were young we would have love to find workout weights. But got used old flour and sugar and burlap bags with sand in them mom would weigh them up on the feed scales.
I’ve thought about this and the lower traffic levels compared to the market along with the hours I’d need to put in. It doesn’t really make sense to me. I’ve started donating to clear space.
Hey Poly. I know this may be a crazy idea, but have you thought about partnering with someone, and opening a thriftstore. They could run the store, and sell the things you bring in. You could cash in on your popularity on you tube, 50/50 split. And if you caught on, and needed more items, pass the word to your fellow scrappers. You could sell stuff on consignment, 70 for you,30 for them. This way you could save space at your house, and still save all those treasures from the landfill. I am actually in talks with a theiftstore myself to consign my treasures. Just an option.
You got to be the neatest scrapper ever, even if you don't make the mess you always tidy up, your a good man Poly. When you were first digging around in the girl's tote, I saw that $1 bill, but you didn't, then you went back over to that side & found it.
Great score on all the fitness equipment for resale & the pottery birdbath was a beauty - your garden must look wicked with all the stuff you find while on your rounds. Cheers mate👍
I don't know why but I really love watching you dig through your finds and coming up with treasures just fun watching you!!!! Stay safe there down under, from a fan in the USA Pennsylvania Robin Jo
You can take pillows and bed linings if they're in pretty good shape to the animal shelter, and they will take them to help animals that they get in stray animals that they take care of at the animal shelter. I've taken quite a few there
Ah bro those metal sticks @ 5:06 are sign holders from Wollies or Coles, I see alot of these coming back from stores. Good video my bro take care of your back...lol🤙🏽
Boy Poly you sure got a workout in this one! It's good to see there are still hard working people out there, you being one of them. Thanks for the great video and I will be there tagging along on your next one 👍
Hi Mr Poly, I enjoy your scavenging and listening to the birds in the background! About the stuff you gathered for the market, can’t you have a garage sale?
I can though there’s nowhere near as much traffic and it’s a solid 6hr commitment. I’d spend about 3-4hrs at the market and make a lot more. Really though I try not to work on weekends. I like to spend them with my family 🙂
Awesome video mate i see why you dont luke tangly stuff us a pain to deal with and get out and love the way you clean up after yourself and oyhers messes they leave hope you have a great day
You never know where a good old American dollar will pop up. The most money I ever found was in a book thrown into a dumpster at the thrift shop. There were 4 $20 bills inside between random pages. People put money in books and then forget it's there.
Mr. Prophet, I was watching some older vids. One in which you found a lawn mower with a "Tecumseh" brand engine. My Dad helped built that engine! :) Tecumseh is a small town in the southern part of the state of Michigan, US, about 60 miles south of Detroit. Tecumseh Products builds engines for all sorts of machinery then shipped all over the world. I grew up in Tecumseh and my Dad retired from Tecumseh Products after 33 years of service. Just some fun facts from the other side of the world :)
Have a yard sale yourself. That's what a lot of people do. That go around and pick up things in the trash. Nice things just have a yard sale. There's one girl that I know. That makes sometimes five hundred dollars at a yard cell
Checking up on Facebook or things like that now you just have a Hawker this worth 10 quid second-hand goodbye I won't know I do a sleep as for myself and course just thank you bro
Hey Poly!
Do you also collect banknotes? Are you not a numismatist? By the way, your Australian dollars are very expensive here. And tell me, are Lego and cars a hobby?
@@PolyProphet I'm thinking that there might be a small chicken phase and they might be used for building a chicken run..cggs will be very expensive soon.. They can be very cheap to feed if you're clever....😀
