Howdy, y'all! My name is Mike and I absolutely love scavenging for free stuff, random treasures, lost valuables and other interesting artifacts. I mainly rock the dumpster diving scene but can be found digging through trash curbside as well as scavenging the river bottoms for lost treasures in the summer months. Join me on my epic voyages!

Watching from the UK. The last storm we had was in 1987. Shame to see the destruction and Kudos to you Mike for being respectful. I have to say I loved that scripture that was at the front of someone's house Isaiah 41:10 Good bless you all in these times 🙏🏾🇬🇧

Hi Mike, those metal gate pieces would make great railing for the truck could possibly even have enough for a headache rack. Thays a solid savings you be careful out there. much love for all who weathered this storm. I was in the hospital and they discharged me right when it hit us here i like to not have made it home. Thank God for making sure I did. mY HEART GOES OUT TO ALL .

we had a Derecho storm roll through our town in 2022, the destruction path was pretty incredible! And I went out during it to check on a senior neighbour who had a tree crash through their window, I was honestly scared for my life running across the road and back, dodging flying debris. Mother nature can be a mother f***** when she wants to be, glad you were safe Mikey

Nice find the Ultra Grind is a wet grinder for grains. If it works it's a 150.00 bill all day Mr Scavenger!! That damage is so sad ,hope y'all get back to normal soon !

Hey Mike as a trained storm chaser I was looking at the Houston NWS page. And when this system enters the city limits of HOUSTON wind sampling from dual pole radars got readings of over 120 knts just 400 ft above the surface.... I'm glad you and yours made it through ok!!!

When we got a trampoline, my MIL insisted on putting anchors in the ground on each corner, with chains to connect. It may be overkill, but I've seen it shift slightly in a thunderstorm before. And it's in the same spot 6 years later 😀
