How is it that when I take my sick dog to the vets one of the first things they ask is what I feed her.

@selenataylor6959 because vet knows that food can be cure or poison to your dog but doctor doesn't know that (sarcasm).

When I said to my doctor for my diet about Grave's desies, she said "well done". And she sais to me, to stop also caffeine and hot peppers. I'm on a properly vegan diet (prescribed me from another dr.) and came into remission for 2 months. But stress regulation and good sleeping are huge factors, not only diets.

I have hyperthyroidism, large nodules (unbiopsied), eye pain, nervousness and extreme anxiety. What’s odd is that I’ve been made fun of for the last 20 years for being super obsessed with avoiding chemicals. Only Organic food, spring water, no household chemicals, no makeup, etc, etc. I don’t take medications or hormones so it’s just a head scratcher.

When I was diagnosed w/Hashimotos-hypothyroidism, I had just gone through a very traumatic event, was not eating right, and had the pre-disposition as my father has it. I went to my Dr. when I was extremely fatigued. My Dr at that time just told me my thyroid hormones were whack, prescribed me Levothyroxine, and sent me on my way out. There was Zero talk of diet/lifestyle changes that could help. I’ve had my TPO levels drastically go down by doing the keto diet, along with/my symptoms of hypothyroidism lessening or gone. I pray that one day all Doctors will be on the same page as you, Dr. Osborne. Thank you for all you do! We appreciate you! 🙏🏻😊

Ive been off synthroid for 8 years. Gave up wheat, and ate lots of fermwnted foods.. kefir, kombucha and saurkraut, the doctor checks my blood and reminds me that he has heard people do this but i am his first patient to do it and prove it. Edit* I cant say for sure , what really worked because i teied lots of things.. i didnot eat oats and i was very strict not to eat anything with wheat.. as i were celiac serious. I added chia seeds to my coffee in the morning.. so basically i drank my coffee and then ate the coffee flavored chia pudding on the bottom. We also add just a handful if nuts . Brazil , walnuts, and almond.. before bed! Also did the concoction with the vodka and walnuts. My neck used to be very thick in the lower feont. Thats gone now and is wrinkled!!lol

Thank you for excellent presentation dr Osborne. Finally you show relation of thyroid problems to toxic substances. My thyroid problem started when I lived couple months away from home, about 3-4 miles from Savannah Paper Mill. Changing winds were pushing all horrible fumes to my apartment complex in Pooler. Came back home very sick, discovered that my thyroid/goiter needed immediate medical attention. It was 20 years ago, lately I was forced to remove my thyroid.

I am hypothyroid and was never told by the doctor that diet could help me. After experiencing daily inflammation until my clothes were not fitting me, I finally went gluten, dairy and sugar free. Iflammation gone now, feeling great, went hyperthyroid when I gave them up, so quickly after 2 weeks had to reduce levothyroxine by 25mcg each day, after 2 weeks started to be hypothyroid again, so upped levothyroxine by 25mcg every other day. Still feeling great, eyesight better, brain fog gone, lost 2 kilos. Thanks Dr. Osbourne, your videos are helping me educate myself to manage my own thyroid.

Great info. Thanks so much. I’ve been on Synthroid for longer than I can remember. Probably in excess of 20 years. Last 2 doctors never suggested anything but medicating for life. They are both retired now and I no longer have a GP to work with so looking for ways to get off the synthroid. Always been told you stay on this med and eventually the thyroid dies as a result so I’m hoping with the right information and good habits, I can steer it back to a healthy functioning gland.

I found out a second cousin of mine has Hashimoto's when I started looking up videos on youtube I realized all these people where having most of the symptoms I've been dealing with for several years now. I had tried speaking with my GP's over the years about specific symptoms not thinking they could be related or I'd think maybe it was caused by medication I've been taking. But every time I brought something I was concerned about they were make it seem like I must be not getting enough sleep (exhausted all the time) or I'm just getting old (when I asked at 27 about my joint pain which has gotten worse over the years. I assumed it was side effects my cholesterol meds or statins cuz I couldn't think what else it could be but going off them didn't help me) or the latest very severe now one that is very troubling to me which is fog brain & memory problems. I'm scared I'm gonna lose my job at this point because I literally feel stupid, I forget so much it literally feels like IQ dropped completely. I'm 37 years old and my mother at 67 has better memory then I do. Last year I was rushed to the ER, I started having all these issues with gas I guess that filled up my chest cavity made it hard to breathe & had pain in my chest I thought it was my heart (I have familial hypercholesterolemia, found out I had high cholesterol at age 17 & my younger sister was 14 who has it as well) but then I started having inflamed intestines very tender and painful with if felt like anything I ate so I went on a liquid diet for a week only drinking chicken broth, water, and tea. I was scared to eat anything. Then I started eating chicken and very very slowly adding some things back I was terrified the pain & bloating would come back. It's been a full year now the only thing I know for certain is Gluten definitely causes my intestines to inflame but I've had only minimum dairy too. I know I need blood test to confirm Hashimoto's but I'm scared I spent so much money & time over the years getting tested for anything the GP could think of and none of them came back abnormal. They started talking to me like it was all in my head or that I was a hypochondriac so I stopped going to the doctors completely, I've lost faith in doctors so it's been a full year since I've seen one but I'm still struggling bad with symptoms the brain fog & memory loss being the worst at the moment, fatigue always plagues me, & a few days ago the joint pain came back with a vengeance after being gone for at least 6 months now (I don't know why it's back). I would like to have confirmation that I'm not crazy and it is Hashimoto's I just haven't worked up the nerve to go back to the doctor yet, I can't take the disappointment of not having a name for it or being treated like a crazy person or nuisance again by the doctors/nurses.

I should move to a far away island, produce my own plants and meet, make soap, toothpaste and clothes from natural ingredients, make my own clay dishes and wooden spoons (I actually use wooden fork, spoon and knife because I am allergic to nickel in addition to my Hashimoto's and dust mite allergy). I’m watching your video , it seems like we can get exposed to almost everything. I am writing notes based on this video. But it seems like everything is on the list!

Lots to digest here! At one time I was craving grapefruit. I ate it everyday, couldn't get enough. I went from hypo to hyper and once I quit eating grapefruit, went back to hypo. Any thoughts?

@@kay4725 I stopped eating gluten and all grains. I went Gluten Free. Then totally Gluten Free. Then grain and dairy free. There’s nothing much left to eat other than meat/eggs, etc. I had to give up bananas apples and all fruits. Basically went full keto then carnivore. I have to eat a lot of fat. I occasionally eat a potato on major holidays as a treat. My TSH is Normal, and it took me about a month to get off the levrothhroxin. After I quit gluten, my levrothyroxin was to powerful and I was having big side effects. Then Getting off that was some of the most difficult withdrawal symptoms I have ever experienced.

@KrummyProductions
@KrummyProductions 7 месяцев назад
@@deborahyoung2415 because it was making me sick. I couldn’t believe it when I realized bananas were making me sick, it sucks. I miss bananas. Then apples were giving me heartburn. I think I could still be eating oranges and grapefruit, but at this point, I’m gonna eat what my body likes and go with that for a “while. I will never forget the moment I determined when bananas were making me sick. Nor the moment I woke up 3-days after quitting gluten and feeling ALIVE again.

I was well aware of all these problems and toxins that contribute to thyroid disease, but I never heard of artificial sweeteners since sugar causes cancer and other diseases. I opted for sweet and low and have used it since I was a little girl. You did not mention it in your lecture as the thyroid disruptor, so can I assume that it’s not harmful to the thyroid like sucralose. What about chlorinated swimming pools? I noticed a lot of the water polo players were losing their hair. Could this be the reason why my son now has a 3 cm nodule?

My Dr. said diet won't help. Had to ask him three times what kind of med he wanted to put me on. Had to ask him two times what is supposedly wrong with my thyroid. I don't have the symptoms that's associated with thyroid problems but he put down fatigue, something I never brought up with him. All about blood work he never reviewed with me.

I’m from the UK had underactive thyroid since 17 years. Never saw a specialist or met a dr that discussed cause/diet/cure. I have brain fog low energy but main problem is memory has become very weak. Unfortunately due to family and health never got a chance to go gluten/dairy free. Appreciate advice from anyone as feel like I’m slowly dying at 48😢

Dear Dr Osborne,I am amazed by the depth of your knowledge of the Thyroid and I will be most grateful for your expert advtIce In June 2022,myTSH level was 0.5310, but a year later it dropped to0.1476. My doctor suggested I stop taking my, Multi vitamin...Revital for Woman and a Probiotic...Vibact.With this it came up to 4 .199 I found that when I restarted the supplements,myTSH level again went down to 0.1476.,Again stopped the supplements for 6 weeks and my TSH level rose to 0.2412, but not as high as the first time.MyT3,T4,FT3 and FT4. are all within normal limits and I have no other symptoms of Hypothyroidism except for sone Constipation and mild hair loss ,so no medication has been prescribed.Can u please diagnose the cause for this and what I need to do?Will be most grateful.

No, my doctor and many before her (I keep searching for answers by switching) have never spoke to me about diet. They just tell me go on a diet. I’m a complete sugar/dairy addict screaming for help because I’ve not been able to break it myself. All I get is “you want candy? Eat 1 piece. You want ice cream just eat less.” As if it’s that simple. Or I’d have broke it a decade ago. No diet tips of what not to eat whatsoever and I’ve never been to a specialist. I was told it was not necessary when I asked. I’m dying.

Just found out TSH is 12.5, TPO is 126. T3 is 82 and T4 Free is .66. I have never had issues before. I have always been on the low end of TSH. I've been trying to figure out what happened for such a sudden change. I have already changed my diet over this last month, cutting out processed foods, sugar, gluten, seed oils and pretty much every vegetable and fruit. Doctor has now put me on levothyroxine which scares me to be on medication. How can I fix this?

Use topical iodine. Lugol best . Thyroid meds can shut down adrenal glands and won't heal thyroid . Research iodine for thyroid .

20 years of ra and hypothyroidism and no answers from doctors. I started carnivore. Coffeeis my Aquiles hill but I was on vegan for 3 months and coffee was out and no better ra much worse. All those juices almost killed me and 5 times to toilet a day and diarrhoea. I don’t know how I managed. But at least I can say vegan is worse than anything even though I was off gluten for 3 month. Solved gut with raw milk kefir home made. Solved jorgen dry eyes with raw milk kefir on eyes, not even water. Managed to find n7 eye cream ok. Organic creams and organic shampoo. Just soap. Several years with changes but ra still here. Started carnivore today. Great video. Methotrexate never worked for me. Anti tnf worked on pain but hands and feet are being deformed. I still have to take methotrexate. When doctors say the new meds work for ra they surely are lying.
