Received a strange, scribbly message imprinted with paw prints that I gave to Izzy for translation. Apparently it's a petition calling for the abolishment of working for treats, stating that such is a violation of FELIS (the FEline Labor Involuntary Servitude Act of 1990). It also includes a note saying "give the dang thing to Napa."

Interestingly, there are multiple signatures in the same scrawl--Charlie the Magnificent, King Charlie, Charlie Top Cat, etc.

I have a 3 month old Ragdoll. What is the best puzzle toy for her age bracket ?

is she highly food motivated? I have never thought of buying for a kitten - I always think of buying for the cat because she will not be 3 months old for long. Is she smart? I have one that is food motivated and smart - I have another who is food motivated, but not as intelligent (not dumb, just not as smart with puzzles).

Floppycats I’ve had her for 5 days so it’s hard to say if she’s motivated by food. As for her intelligence, she’s brilliant 😜

@@cindybrown157 Hi Cindy, OK - the Nina Ottosson Dog Brick might be a good one to start with - it's a level 2 difficulty, but you can make it a level 1 by not making it as challenging. For example, you could just fill one of the compartments and once she has that down, then you can fill another - and it will be something she can use as an adult. Seriously, I don't see how a cat OR a dog could get the bones out of this. Too much mouth work. I like the pie idea, but I think I prefer some of the other Nina Ottosson puzzle toys.

i am sure there are other videos of dogs figuring out - i haven't searched for it...but yes, i am not sure if this one will make to review status because the casino toy hasn't made it either.

+Dee Wishies you can start with a small cardboard box - just cut holes in it and then put her treats inside - see if she is interested in fishing them out of the box with her paws...then you will have an idea if she'd be interested in a more challenging puzzle game. i have a list of cat games here: www.floppycats.com/cat-games.html

+Floppycats I meant you talking to Charlie. I should not have described it so, it happened only twice. "Yea, you got it!" etc. Otherwise interesting videos. I don't have a cat, only have a 'share' in two cats for a few weeks yearly in another country when visiting some friends who are renting from me. I never thought of buying them cat toys before but I found a retailer of Ottosson toys in Oslo. .

+ausfi oh, yes, that's my kitty voice (more like high pitch squealing) - happens, my friend. i can't hold it back or it's artificial and the cats know it. yes, nina ottosson is Scandinavian. i think swedish (without looking it up)
