Been considering treating my Dollar Weed Plantation but then I look at the Mango, Banana, Grape Vines, Papaya, Peach, Lemon and Lime trees and have second thoughts. This year the Mango matured enough to bear fruit and the Peach only produced a few one time a some years ago and hasn't since the last weed treatment so I'm fearful of messing up all that desirable fruitage. Also got that weed with all the spines from the Jurassic Era that even your heavy winter flipflops offer little protection from. BTW: Whats with all the Heavy Winter Clothing this time of year? ;> Best!
@@pestcontrolguys Always under threat of Lubber Grasshopper Infestation due to the breeding grounds some of the neighbors maintain. I'm always on the lookout for them as the most effective control is physical destruction. Wish we could get the Loggerhead Shrike population restored as they are the only bird that has figured out how to impale the Lubber on a thorn to let the sun cook the poison out of them before eating them. In one day they stripped my Lime and Peach trees of all their leaves. You can hear them munching loudly even if you can't see them. When they got into the Confederate Jasmine the chewing noise was so loud that I thought there was a problem with the irrigation pump nearby. Best!
