A trail camera captured video of a shy and curious wolf peeking over a beaver dam, and then it returned the next day to investigate smells on the grass from other animals that had been crossing the dam. Its nose is working overtime keenly smelling the blades of grass. I felt so lucky to capture this rare close-up view of a beautiful, majestic wolf and its skittish, curious personality.
