Yused to try to do this like yrs ago when I was like 18 or 19 and it dried out my eyes and they would burn in the morning so I stopped doing it.. I think it all depends on the person.
She just stands out as more genuine from the thousands of other internet personalities that feel pressured to be "upbeat" in order to attract views. Some of them I believe are just being themselves, but the other half are usually over the top and I have to switch to another video because of all the screaming, and it doesn't seem genuine at all.
Doesn’t mean everyone has to like them, don’t tell people what to do with their looks especially after she said she doesn’t like them that way? who do you think you are?
nicole avery thank for asking me who I am. My name is Jenny, and I told her because she asked people’s opinion. Who are you to comment to me? Don’t care for one second. Move along ✌🏻
Swan Queen Everyone has their own theory. Maybe you’re correct. Again. I was just telling her they looked amazing curled, obviously either way she is stunning so who cares 🤷🏻♀️
If she curls them and use mascara they will get kinda dry and fall off faster. Of course new lashes grow again but they may wouldn't be as long as the old ones are.
@@kyle-tg7bi Well it sounds like a lift for your lashes, like using a curler but long lasting....I looked it up and it's actually a perm for your lashes... Hmmm sounds like dangerous chemicals close to the eyes..um. hm I have to look into it some more.
I think the curled lashes brought youth to her face -since they are long , while straight, they bring down the eyes and make the face droop down and look a bit aged or exhausted
M bolt right! I think a smaller curler so she can curl parts of her lash line at a time would be a lot better so she can get the curl just right. But even natural they look good. But you are right when the lashes are curled it opens up her eyes a lot
Your whole face and especially your eyes look like it's drawn in a 90s shoujo manga. I love your natural lashes. They're absolutely insane and one of the first things I noticed on your face
Sarah Stroud question do you brush them after curling before or after mascara? Because I have long lashes and when I curl them they look like hers, some lashes are straight but then I have lashes bunch up together because it’s hard for me to fill the curling wand with all the eyelashes because I have a lot I hope I’m making sense. And when I have sections of eyelash that bunch up like that it looks terrible :(
X O get a clean spolié or mascara brush that separates ur lashes well and then apply mascara (one that also is good at separating!) hope this helped!:)
At first when you did only one eye, I did think it looked a little bit awkward but after you did both eyes and it kind of settled in, it actually looked pretty good! So honest opinion, curl your lashes like on special events if you feel like it. It doesn't look bad at. :)
Ohhh my goodness..you are so beautiful!!! I am 47 years young, and take good care of my skin, hair, body and eyelashes. I have been doing it for the past 20 years and it pays off... you are gorgeous! Keep it up.
I’ve been using castor oil on my lashes for the past 3-4months and almost every single night (I forgot like 10 times) and they grew so much it looks so good when I curl them Ty for the video😘
@@kashafnaeem9583 I saw results after around 2-3 months as well...you really have to be consistent. My lashes are not only longer but thicker, meaning more volume.
Your eyelashes are soooo beautiful!! Curled and natural! If you don't want them to look "weird" don't curl from the bottom, you can start in the middle section or a little before so you can get a nice curl without them getting stick on the eyelid ;)
@@soozt828 she is gorgeous, I know.. but I was talking about the eyelashes looks prettier when its curled. She is 37 btw that looks like late 20s, 19s is just too overdrama.. And my comments about her is nothing but encouraging. English is my second language.
@@xomuneca I did try wearing fake lashes with glasses before and for some reason it still find its way to poke my eyeballs 💀 I guess it depends on the glasses itself cuz mine is deep frame with no nose pads lol
Qill' Scarlett if I wear glasses and wear mascara my lashes hit the glasses and it’s so annoying! I already have pretty long eyelashes so if I had like extensions or her length it would be a pain 😂
I’m a full time lash lift technician. As much as I dislike curlers, just a tip use the curler further away from the base and not so hard it will looks more natural for your long lashe. I’ve lifted about 20 (out of 900+ clients) with lashes similar/ longer than yours- only a subtle loose lift is needed. But hey your blessed with beautiful lashes that don’t need any enhancements- enjoy it! ☺️
You’re lashes look so good uncurled I’ve never seen anyone look so good with uncurled lashes. But I also like them curled a lot, it gives you a very unique look. ❤️
You have the most beautiful eyelashes I’ve ever seen. Everything about your lifestyle is inspiring, I’m so glad I found your channel. You’re definitely one of my new favorites
“This is why I don’t curl my eyelashes because it makes them look **waiting for thorough explanation***... bad.” I don’t know why, but I found this funny. I like your dryness and inversion. Your eyes are GORGEOUS and I prefer the lashes doe-eyed and not curled.
MrsWang ooooh doe eyed is such a sweet term and really fitting. (English is not my native language :D) I always thought that straight lashes really look good on many people. I also like light colored lashes (Ginger or white) because it gives such a dreamy look. I don’t understand why everyone’s always going for the curled up intense pitch black look. That’s beautiful as well but often times the natural lashes charm peoples face features more (imo). One of my friends has super straight lashes and it looks so cute on her.
I just got recommended this to me now, and I think I’m going to get some castor oil. I think the eyelashes look really falsely curled and I don’t do it myself. Whatever you’re doing naturally looks great !
WOW they look even more beautiful when they're curled, they open up your eyes! I don't think it looks fake at all. You're gorgeous either way so do whatever makes you feel comfortable 🤗💜
its so nice seeing someone so sweet on this godforsaken era of social media. everyone has gotten slightly toxic, and youre just oozing genuinity and humility. Keep up the good work and character!!
I legit saw your video and it motivated me to put castor oil on my eyelashes too . So i did and it's prolly the best decision I've made uptil now!!! Bruhhh it has literally made my eyelashes so much better and I can already see a change ... Mind u it has been only like 3-4 days since I've been applying the oil !!!!! THIS WORKED LIKE MAGIC FOR ME !!! WOWW TYSMMMM FOR THIS VIDEO 😩💓
Using castor oil consistently for 3 years every single night and during the day when I don’t wear mascara, the before and after is insane. I highly recommend it as a natural lash enhancer
I have straight lashes too and usually get compliments on how long they are but I always hated that they were straight. Recently I’ve been embracing the straight eyelashes and it took me a while to realize that they’re just as beautiful, but different to curled lashes. I’ve stopped trying to force them to curl because it just ends up looking ridiculous and spidery. Your lashes straight are so beautiful to me and make me like how mine are more too! 😍
Absolutely, when you curl them they end up looking unnatural, so this dedication to keep them strong is wasted. Honestly, when they are straight, you know straight away they are natural,no extensions or false lashes, and that's the real beauty.
Sharing… Been doing this since april this year and i can say it really gives a different look on my eyes as it defining my eyes because of the lashes getting thicker. My lashes are small and thin btw before i used it. I haven’t see much more difference with the length but a friend of mine whose doing the same is having more define and very noticeable lashes, she already have thick lashes before but the length is just average. I have decided to continue doing this every night. I also put some around my eyes because i have a fine lines and dark circle with a puppy bags under my eyes all my life, castor helps in reducing the fine lines and lightened it a bit but i still have puppy bags thou. ( i sleep 8hrs a day by the way, it just runs in my genes since my mom have that problem around the eyes too) Thank you Jennifer for sharing your routine. I have been seeing a lot of videos about castor but didn’t do it, wish i did a lot earlier. Your result pushes me to give it a try too so thanks a bunch!
When I saw this video, literally my exact move was jump straight on amazon and order the same exact oil homegirl got. Your lashes are soooooooo freaking beautiful
I won't lie. They look interesting when curled. However I understand why you think they look odd. It took me a while to get used to it but by the end of the video I loved them!
Omg when you curled your natural lashes, it looked like you just got a fresh set of lash extensions! 😭💕 (which people pay lots and lots if money for) you don’t even need mascara anymore. Just a gentle curl and boom! Beautiful voluminous lashes 😍💕 that nightly castor oil regimen paid off! And i am so headed to get some myself now. 😋
You are absolutely correct, you don’t need to curl them, you look far more elegant and sophisticated just the way you are. The curled lashes do look cheap.
I’ve been doing this but for my hair for 1 year and my hair is already 26 inches long ! I started doing this for my eyelashes too about 2 months ago and I’m definitely seeing results :)
Dam I wish I would've known about castor oil before I purchased latisse. But omg, your lashes look so pretty when you curl them, and they look pretty when they're straight ♥️ you are the definition of natural beauty 🙂 👌
What I like about curling my lashes is that the (sun) light can hit the eye better and is reflected, that really improves the overall appearance of the face in my opinion!
Omg!! This makes me feel excited! I used to had really long lashes before having my kids...now they look horrible 😢 but seing your eyelashes gave me hope again ❤
Phoebe Fribbins good point. Hair is basically dead and doesn’t need the oil. It’s the lash line you have to put it on cause only there hair growth is happening. That’s why you can’t really repair hair. So for healthy hair you need to take care of it from the start. Product that you put on your scalp or vitamins you take only have effect on new hair growth not on the hair that has already grown out.
I’m obsessed with you and your videos I just got some retinA and U inspired me to start back on the castor oil on my lashes again !!! I’ve been using a retinoid from the ordinary until I get my retinA and it’s made a huge difference in my skin lol thanks for the motivation girl I honestly hope u keep making videos! Your so real and genuine!! Love from southern Cali
Use a disposable wand to brush them out before and after, also don’t curl so close to your lid as it leaves that weird straight up mark in the center that shows your upper water line.
my eyelashes used to be as long and beautiful as yours, when curled they resembled extensions. however, i started wearing mascara all throughout middle school and my lashes began falling out due to improper removal and i can’t seem to gain back my old length. just don’t make the same mistake as i did!
They're amazing! Seriously! Maybe you can try curling them starting from the middle of the lashes towards the tip, that way they wouldn't appear as long as they are but you could still get that curl.
