I just used this today and my results were the same as yours. Wet curl look. Not used to that. Altho curls were really defined. I’m eager to see what it looks like tomorrow on day 2. I loved this review. Helped a lot.

Good review :) and I understand what you've said about the 'wet-look' on day 1. I have very 'fine' and high porosity hair and I've tried the custard several times and for me it ended up to be a no-no: because I have high porosity hair my hair absorbs a lot of water during the shower, and with the custard it holds the water longer by far. My hair feels like 'my hair' just after 24 hours. When a person has lot of hair or coarser hair that may be sound like 'yeahh'..... but not for fine haired high (-er) porosity types.

I actually like how day 2 looks almost better, although the first day your curls look beautiful as well.

Love the KC custard. My first time trying it last wash and wow, I couldn't beleive the difference and how well my hair loved it. I have same hair as you 2c/3a/3b but my hair is blonde and damaged from coloring and this styling gel is the best I've tried. I pair it with the Knot Today detangler leave in and it works great. I also have to be careful of heavy products. I liked the gel cast I got from KC custard and the volume is more than I usually get even though I should have mad volume since my hair is so thick. I'm still learning how to style for volume. Subbed.

Thank you for this video. I use Kinky Curl Custard. It has a bit of a cast at first but after it’s dry and I release the cast and it’s perfect. I can get a few days out of it with just a little refresh in the morning. My hair is similar to yours. I love you Haircolor. Can you give me the name of your Haircolor? Thank you.

Try the kinky curly leave in with the custard! Amazing! Sometimes I even throw a little La looks blue gel over it all. 🙂

I love this custard! My hair is 2b/c and coarse...and long. My dry time is forever (typical of this product) but I really like my results. It smells yummy like vanilla cake and it's glycerine free. Lots of girls top it with a hard hold gel if they don't get strong enough hold from just the Kinky Curly, but I don't have to. Thanks for the video!

If you use too much of this custard it can be crunchy. Using a little less product would get rid of the wet/crunchy look and still have a good curl

I started to use the curl talk defining cream and my curls looked really good in the morning, but by the end of the day my hair looked so flat to my head and it had no volume what so ever (FYI, I don’t get much volume in general, but it was way worse than normal). I had a hard time telling myself that I wasn’t going to use it until someone told me that there’s paraffin (a wax) in it. No wonder my hair what so weighed down, the wax was way to heavy for my fine, medium thickness hair. I also used the TINIEST amount on my, almost to nothing. None of my other products (I use 2) ever weigh my hair down. And I have 2a, 2b, 2c, and a couple 3c curls. I know....

Can you please talk about your hair color?

Just FYI your floor will be wet with an aerosol sprayer also, maybe more so. If you figure out a way to not get the floor wet from sprayers let me know! 😊

Girl help. My hair can’t do a wash and go and I don’t feel like doing my hair so.. Meanwhile I want to deep condition and do prepoo’s but people often do their wash and go after that. What do I do to my hair in order to be able to braid it and go straight to bed? Do I put in just a leave-in conditioner after a prepoo/deep condition??? Help!!

I don’t know if you will be able to answer me but hopefully somebody does, I have asked many youtubers this and nobody has responded lol 😭 but are protein masks only for hair that isn’t protein sensitive? It sounds like a dumb question but I have heard various things about that. So I’m just wondering! 😀

First product I ever used on in my hair for a wash n go 7 years ago and loved it so much but it cost so much where I'm from for me to only get maybe 2 wash n gos out of it. My hair is thick and long

I'm not a fan of custards but kccc acts like a gel and is one of my holy grail gels.

If you’re not sure you need protein, be careful w that one! I didn’t know what I was doing & went into protein overload in one treatment... :-/

That’s not a protein treatment😅 it has very very low protein like the 28th & 30th or something ingredient is protein. The JBCO has more protein than this.

This is so expensive product! in Indian currency it will cost u around 5k which is bit expensive !
