You can grow that in about 4 or 5 years. Once my hair it gets to over 2 feet it starts growing half the rate it did below 24 inches

Curly K I'm in the same boat. I've tried scarves bonnets silky pillow cases but I pretty much twist and turn in my sleep so my hair is usually out of the scarves 2 hours into the night.

I agree that less is definitely more. When I was transitioning back to wearing my natural curls I had to start from square one. I had flat ironed my hair once a week for about 4 years. I had no idea how to style my natural hair since it had been so long. I do use 3 products but very, very little. I use Chi leave in conditioner, Ogx Coconut Milk, and Shea Moisture curl enhancing smoothie. Sometimes I use Miss Jessie's pillow soft curls and when I do, it's the only product I'll wear. I love the results of using it but I can only wear my curls for about 1 day 😕 So needless to say, I don't reach for it often. Anyone else experience this?

+josie yvette You know what! It's crazy you say this because I used a sample of Pillow Soft curls and had AMAZING Day 1 hair but then it wasn't that good Day 2! I think it made my hair "too soft"! I get the best 2nd-5th day hair with gel

BiancaReneeToday I wished it lasted longer 😩 If I'm lucky I can stretch it to 2nd day hair but I have to wet my hair, comb it, and scrunch it and hope for the best lol I wonder how the Jelly Soft Curls one is 🤔 if you ever get a chance to try it out please let us know! I don't know that I *need* to use as many products as I do, but I need them to get the effect I'm going for. I have 2b waves and NO natural lift at the crown. I also live in a climate that's very humid (60+ degree dew point) for more than half of the year. I can use fewer products in the winter, but most of the year its curl cream+curl enhancer+hard hold gel and DevaCurl foam at the roots. I've tried cutting products and it's not like I look terrible when I do...I just get the nicest results using all four. I think it all really depends on your natural pattern/width/porosity, the climate you live in, and the look you're going for.

Yeeeah regarding the number of products to use, if you have to use more than 2-3 products then at least 1 is not doing it's job or you need to apply larger amounts of product for your hair type. There are too many multipurpose products on the market to need more than 3 to moisture and style.

i mean everyone's hair is different so there's that doesnt hurt to try. My hair would have been his length but i cut it at 13 because i thought it was cool to cut parts of my hair and my mom told me to cut it off and start over. Its past my shoulder now.

And if none of your hair gets older than 5 years and you have a hair grow of 10cm a year u will never pass 50cm but if your hair stays 10 years on your scalp it could grow up to 1m. ^^ so the maximum of your hair length is determined by your genetics
