One of the best i've ever heard for sure. I came here tonite just to listen to it once again, 'cause for no apparent reason it came to my mind; and it's just as beautiful as ever.
Facts ! And I watched the BTS of this - Wale was in another studio room recording and came in to say what’s up - he freestyled that hook like it was nothing
Love that feeling when you get a song stuck in your head and you just repeat lines from it randomly throughout the day... "sir can i take your order" "WHAT IT LOOK LIKE?" "excuse me?" "Jet life, YEAHHHHHH"
this record was all I bumped for a good 2 months straight when it first came out, and I can still rock with this and not get bored of it. Spitta and Wale are two artists making outstanding music and keeping it genuine while most others are putting out the same garbage formulated noise that I have no ears for. I'm just glad theres still guys like Curren$y doing it.
he did it was a video on that showed it years ago. he just walked in the studio to wats up to spitta and heard the beat. he said he wanted to get on it and spitta go ahead he walked in the booth and recorded what you hear here.
Don't sleep on Curren$y, pop in any mixtape I bet you'll like at 8 songs off it. Wale is nice too but he has more of poetic flow, Curren$y is a straight lyricist.
Curren$y is one of the few artist who consistently puts out tracks with real instruments unlike rappers now a days. Everybody else has a consistently electronic sound to their instrumentals. This is authentic music.
I didn't mean live instrumentals but the use of the horns and keys and other instruments like that. I could care less if they are electronically engineered but just the fact that he uses their sounds more often than not in comparison to other artist out now.
@@tobiasgates4442 he's plays with a band live as well....I bet it's dope to see that in person...look at currensy "Jimmy and the jets" he was performing on the Jimmy Fallon show....its towards the end of the video.. pretty dope...that year Stoned Immaculate made #7 on the billboards...i heard he regretted doin the stoned immaculate ....dont quote me on that tho...lol...but this guy knows how to make good music
"Money got me pulling strings, I got that geppetto dough", on life wale one of the coldest spittas in the game right now. One of the few that you have to flip back to catch what he says often. The man intertwines lines like a pro, I gotta give it up to em, AND its all laced over a freshmade beat. These type of songs are classic.
The first artists I ever listen to was Curren$y, and Larry. When my uncle would always play there music back in early 2010’s when I was only 10 here iam back at it again ❤️❤️🐐🐐🔥🔥
Curren$y, 2Chainz, Meek Mill...all three of these dudes have been in the rap game for years and have always been well respected. Glad they are getting the mainstream limelight they deserve. Especially Spitta's videos being played on MTV damn near made me cry. Life
wales wordplay is incredible, just gets better and better. been following him since back to the feature glad to see his finally getting some recognition, big ups to spitta as well he killed it. wale + curren$y need to do there own mixtape
Love Spitta...he's the dopest lyrcist/MC I've heard in a while. Love his music/band. The combo with Wale is too sweet to my ears...I can just listen to the instrumental all day! Everytime I am leaving town and on the plane, this is my jam!
Wale is just clever as shit, always was. Saw him live right after 'Attention Deficit' dropped and he was just getting some national attention but was still playin shows in college gyms and you could see how lyrically deep he is. His verses are hot as shit and most people just hate because he's too smart for them.
complete artist wise curren$y's the best. i havent heard a jet tape yet that aint banginn plus quiet as kept hes been putting out consistent material for like 6-7 years now.
October 2024, still listening to this classic! One of the coldest verses i ever heard. Spitta definitely did his thing as well, but Wale damn bruh! 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥
