Well done Molly, you’ve got a great little channel here and whether you want to or not, you will inspire other women to be brave too! Your simple and basic setup belies how much you can achieve and where you can go. Good luck and make your destiny yours! And great to see your mums comment championing your efforts.
Hey gotta say you’re so right things are temporary and it’s great you’re getting out there traveling, very brave well done, great inspiration to people to get out of there comfort zones !
Thank you for taking me along with you. I just found your channel, and will continue to watch. I absolutely love the beautiful scenery. Thank you once again. Well done.
Gday Molly, what your doing shows it can be done with the basics and you don’t need to spend a fortune to enjoy travelling, it’s bloody awesome that Ironman have jumped on board and started sponsoring your channel also very wise words on life, you can make anything happen if you have the passion, awesome video as always mate, Cheers
Hey Molly, a simple set up and travelling light is the best. Love your outlook on life and you are a real honey by the way. Thanks for sharing your experiences.
Thank you Molly for the great video and the reminder not to stay stuck and live your dream. It’s so awesome you’re out there traveling and camping by yourself. I look forward to your next video.
Hi Molly and wonderful to see you visit one of the jewels of our state- I visit the Finders most Springs when the wattle is blooming and the creeks are still flowing - smart idea to dump the tub as like you I’m short and had trouble reaching into the window of the ARB canopy - I bought a lift off canopy so I could still use the tray for domestic/gardening duties - important that you experiment with your install before permanently fixing items and make sure you keep your heavy items above or in front of the rear axle - I’m finishing stage 2 of dual battery system using Lithium battery, Engel fridge although most folk are choosing upright fridges now for easy access and no heavy 50kg drop slide - I use locally made Redarc as the battery management system and directly mounted 23Zero roof top tent onto it with custom brackets - Sureflo water pump and tank next - enjoy your build.
Hello again Molly, I cannot tell you how much I enjoy your videos and the memories they evoke for me. I absolutely love the outback which is an experience everyone should try to have. I too love to be alone in the bush it is so enveloping. Your words about making a change to your life are very profound, well done for your strength in making such a big life change. Good travelling Molly so looking forward to your next video!
Love that content Molly, so great to see some sunshine as opposed to a miserable winter that we are currently in atm in the UK. Rig set up looks great as well, simple and functional, like you say there's a few upgrades which you could do, but hey get out there and live your best life. ✌🏻
I love that fact that your setup is so minimal and you're literally travelling all over Aus, so many people get caught up with what they "need" before they even leave the driveway!! I totally feel you on moving away from everyone and everything you know to find happiness as I've recently done that myself and absolutely loving exploring new places! "Go team living the dream" 😅🙌
Way to go, your rig looks great I am sure you will eventually set it up how you want it and I admire your attitude, I just hope you stay safe travelling alone, you sure are brave.
Wow. Beautiful and so adorable. Plus you are an off the grid and off road person. I enjoy also that you have to knowledge and tools to do repairs. Please stay safe on all your adventures and keep your videos coming
Love your "life lesson" at 11:30 and hope your viewers stick around to see it. I started the same way... I'm old now, but just figuring out that it gives me incredible FREEDOM to do what I want (with my splendid wife of 43 years, of course). Hope to be able to see Australia some day too. Thanks for these!😁
Hey Molly. Love your video!!! And personally I love how simple your set up is and how real and pure you are and your content is!! Your are in a very low percent of content creaters that keep their set up simple. And thank you replying back to your fans it shows that you care and take the time to see who is supporting you!!! Hope your having a good rest of your week!!! Like always keep being your amazing self Molly!!
That’s so very lovely to say! I’m so grateful people are even watching let alone leaving lovely comments like this one, so it’s the least I can do! Thanks again ☺️
Well keep the amazing content coming!! I'm loving everything you do and put out for content. I am curious if you are ever going to put together a merchandise line for your channel??
What a beautiful and down-to-earth person, Imagine how great life could be to have someone to share an adventurous lifestyle with, I'll just keep doing my solo trips and let nature run its course
Well done mate! Keep exploring and take your time!. I love seeing your perspective on places that are familiar to me. But there is always a new thing yet to be discovered. Can you do a prom trip? It’s a magical place, especially the hikes. Happy travels 👍🏼
Hey Molly thanks for sharing your adventures! Hats off to you girl...I really love your free spirit travelling light and just taking in all the beauty the landscape has to offer. Look forward to seeing more of your travels. ❤✌
Great episode Molly. You are looking more and more comfortable in front of the camera every episode. I reckon you have the makings of a really popular (even more than you've already become) channel. Keep at it!
I had the same feeling a few months ago so I left everything behind and moved to Melbourne from a little old town and it's great to see someone who's done the same and made it work 💪🏼💯 will definitely be watching some more of your videos just came across this one and yeah
Your beauty accentuates the raw beauty you're surrounded by in the Australian wilderness. The message of this video is also profoundly meaningful in this moment of my life. Thank you!
Hey Molly, keep up the good work. If you need a little extra storage you could get a tray/rack to sit between the tub and the roof top tent for carrying things that you don't mind getting dirty (recovery tracks, dry bags of clothes not wearing depending on the season, etc). Otherwise, keeping it simple is the best way to be.
Your video just now entered my orbit. I really enjoyed your setup!! As you travel you'll find gear that will complement your experience out in the bush...I can't wait to watch you expand your style of cooking and develop a unique to you adventure out on the trail as I call it. I'm going to subscribe and cheerfully follow your adventures. Your a breath of fresh air!! Please becareful and safe!!! Toledo USA. 💙
Awesome content again Molly and a great area you are in 😎 get a jetboil quick and easy to heat your water. Great to see Ironman got on board with you and hopefully they can help you out with some fit outs you need 😎🤠 great and simple set up and yes it works for you that’s all that matters. Safe travels 😃
Great post Molly yes camping alone is great,do what you want when you want,no one to please or worry about!Things i would all so have with you are,a jet boil, small container to boil water and heat food etc, fishing rod and tackle, torch.Have a great week Molly.
That's great your getting by with the basics , makes a person think on their feet. There is gold in that country ,they are finding alot of it. Just throwing that out there. Great footage , all the best 😄😄😄
It's a real credit to you travelling as simply as you do. We all know a tray, canopy, fridge etc are awesome conveniences. You're showing everyone how easy it can be. As for coffee, I reckon you can't beat a small percolator. You can buy the from Woolworths, Kmart even Bunnings. Buy your ground coffee from the supermarket and store it in an airtight container out of sunlight. You'll have espresso whenever you like.
A gorgeous girl with a great a sense and understanding of life ….. keep smiling doing a wonderful job…… full of plenty of information great part of the world
Couldn't help my manhood, to notice how bright and amazing your highbeams are! I really want a set myself, I would always keep mine on even in the day time. I would give anything to see the bulbs underneath, please let me know where I can get some??
I worked on the railway back in the mid 70s at a place called Wilkatana on the Marree line not that far, around 50km, from where you were. The sunsets with the light on the Flinders was spectacular, still stuck in my mind after all these years 💙
Just came back from a trip around Eyre Peninsula 2 weeks ago. Looks like you'll cop better weather than we did. There's so many stunning spots to see and stay here. We camped at a different spot every night for a week and saw pretty much the whole place. 1 really nice free camp as well.
You figure this stuff out over time...nicely done. DCS lithium batteries are awesome. we run two separate banks in our yacht. In combination with a Enerdrive 60amp 240v charger and a victron multiplus II 3000watt inverter/ 120amp charger. We use solar and a geni for rainy days.
The algorithm brought me here to this video. I'm so glad it did! Less is more, and like you said, you'll make do with what you have, and you'll make it work. Kudos to you, Molly, going at it alone. Safe travels, sista! 🤙 I'm hooked at your content - new subby here😉 From one Cairns chicky to an ex- Cairns chicky, stay safe and happy travelling 🫶
I say keep it simple. There are way to many high dollar overland builds that are unobtainable for the majority of adventurers. One suggestion that may make your current setup more user friendly is to put a 2x6 board across your tub behind your wheel wells to keep your totes and cooler (esky) from sliding forward out of reach. You can put tie down points on the board to help keep things from sliding around as much too. Then put the items you don’t need access to as often up towards the cab.
Hi Molly,,,, 100% you can choose what you want to do in life. Many (90%) of people cant set off on the adventure you are on, you give that 90% hope to travel on a small budget. look forward to you getting a rig on the back and maybe a fridge LOL.... look forward to WA adventures, Stay Safe
Follow you from Nz awesome vlog , I’ve spent a lot of time there near blinman and hawker and further up on the Birdsville track for work, keep up the great work hopefully you get your new tray
Hiya Molly, awesome adventure : ) if you put a lid on your water to boil, it'll boil faster = less power used and coffee sooner : ) You can also get a dust seal kit for your rear tray. Any good 4x4 place will help you out. Have a good one ✌
Enjoying your videos Molly. I came across your channel a couple of days ago so I just had to subscribe to your channel. Looking forward to seeing what you cover here in WA.
I know you the roof tent, probably good being off ground. But something to think about: When I had a pickup years ago, I found a double ended 4person tent, but different than most truck tents - with the rear door open and the fly wrapped over the the back of truck & roofrack/canopy made like a 3rd room for rainy days good for cooking on tailgate. but the best thing was if camping for several days you unload the truck, zip everything snug in tent and drive off no worries. Was made by Cabela’s... And due to having door size for truck with canopy the tent was extra tall - good for hot and/or humid days!
I regards to you asking for suggestions....I have driven trucks on line-haul for many years, so maybe a fridge/cooler that plugs into the cigarette lighter socket might help as you are driving along...It always helped me to keep the water cool and fresh...🙂
Awesome breathtaking scenery, just subscribed love seeing how some of the world looks places I’ll never get to go and see. I appreciate the video, I’ll follow for more until then peace and chicken grease 😁👍👍
Rocking tubs is all how we start! Don’t be ashamed of it, heck I still travel with three! Its best to travel basic and grow into what you like and need. As for the coffee, Ive done it all and I found whole beans of your liking, hand grinder and my JetBoil french press to be perfect. Fresh ground coffee always taste best. Excellent channel! Cheers from Whistler Canada
Fun vid Molly! I love the anticipation waiting for your next one to drop. I really do enjoy them! Don’t worry about taking too much time or rambling as I feel your vid’s could go longer. Did notice your selfie stick that you were using this time. Also loved the random Emus and kangaroos! Like I said last vid, don’t get to see those every day. 😊. Read the sign and think you should go see the breathtaking Wilpena Pound and then get us a shot of the yellow-footed rock wallaby (I have no idea what that is!)😂. Good for you to make the choice to travel and do something you love, even if it seemed like an insane thing to do at the time. I think we are all glad you did too! Stay safe!
Love the beauty and accent.Love the thumbnails ! Beautiful ! Keep this kind of content coming please . Your Setup/ Gear/Cooking/What you eat/ Wildlife some of us don't see .....Fishing / Hunting...... Grow this channel. Lets see it all! Beautiful!
