it pisses me off so much when they say, to someone with a horrifying disease in the early stages "your symptoms are not much, you don't require much treatment, let s wait a few years" - when usually, that means that in a few years the patient will have non reversible organ damage and the fungus will be untreatable. HOW does that make sense, not treating it shortly in the beginning, and instead within a few years have someone with a chronic liness weighting on the healthcare system for 20, 30 years? I mean, it makes sense for Pharma companies who want to sell the medications, but it makes no sense for anyone else. They need to treat horrifying diseases in early stages, if they actually care about people being healthy.
Excellent questions and answer , myself Dr.Anbu from India I want to contact this doctor as close relative of mine have severe bronchiectasis and ABPA , your help will be appreciated
thank you for sharing about the licensing criteria BS, that explains the apparently insane approach of many doctors who refuse to prescribe medication until one is half dead.
So as a young doctor, do you still have ANY wish to actually heal people? If so, you need to join the ranks of those who are fighting for early diagnosis and treatment, even without fulfilling all the current criteria, that are only be described as homicidal. Many normo-immune people can get it too, and these days with all the environmental pollutants we all live with, half of the population has some kind of chronic illness. This changes the whole old fashioned scenario pictured in outdated medical books.
