Keep walking. What ever you do, keep walking. When my wife was battling cancer, I was with her every step of the way. But I also walked. Every day I walked the fields, the woods, the shore, the roads. When she passed away two years ago, I walked. I cried and wailed and yelled and swore. But I kept walking. Your mental health is SO important and walking will help. Take good care.
@@jeffnewbery9414 Thank you for that, I am going for a walk around the town now as I need to get a few things. I'm sorry to hear about your wife, you keep walking too 😊
I looked after my Father for 4 years with Parkinsons and Dementia. It was the hardest thing I've done, mentally. My heart goes out to you and I wish you well. I cant describe the phases we went through together. Very sad. God Bless my friend.
@patdennison4508 Thank you. Gosh, that must have been vert difficult. It certainly has been with my wife, it has hit me very hard mentally. We have managed to get a psychologist to help her at long last after a 22-month battle, so hopefully, she will respond to that.
Hi Jerry. It is good that you go for a walk to "get away" and relax a bit. Beautiful surroundings! I feel so bad for you that your wife is deteriorating and not improving. She really needs professional help, and you as well. You must take all the time you need to work on and deal with your situation. Stamps and RU-vid will be there when you can take a break or need them. I think putting out short and manageable stamp videos will also be good for you, but just as you can. Very best wishes for health to you both!
@GreatStampAdventure Thank you, Charnie. Getting professional help here is difficult, but we are working on it. I will make videos where I can. I often go for a walk, I am lucky that I live right on the edge of the north Yorkshire moors national park and we have the Cleveland way, too, which is a walk along the cliff's for quite a long way.
