This is from Electromagnetic waves from class 12 phyics...This concept is the one due to which James Clerk Maxwell predicted a problem in a law called Amperes circuital law...and further have a modified law called Maxwell Ampere Law...This introduces us to displacement current+ tells us that A changing magnetic field can generate changing electric field..which suggest that electric and magnetic field can sustain each other and this he theoratically predicted the existence of EM waves!!

A good food for thought would be "can I consider an open switch as a capacitor?" If no, why not? If yes, then why don't we do the same analysis with it?" Also, since current flows with in a capacitive circuit, we have current flowing in 'open circuit'. Then why do we say we need a 'closed circuit'?
@સર્જકસંગાથેસાંજ
• A closed circuit is defined in terms of FLOW OF CURRENT ! and in capacitive circuit the current is not ZERO ! Hence the current is flowing so even if there is a break in connection of wires ! we would still identify the circuit as CLOSED CIRCUIT! An open circuit is the circuit in which no current flows whereas this circuit is just a circuit with a space between it (capacitor) NOT OPEN • And YES you can consider a OPEN SWITCH to be a CAPACITOR but the capacitance will be extremely LOW ! As it has its area in mm^2

My doubt is :- We know that lambda(λ) is inversely proportional to refractive index(n) ie- λ ∝ 1/n so, now when we pass a light wavelength of 600-700nm that is a red light through a denser medium of very high refractive index then we should see a change in colour but when i tried it out then there was no change in the colour why is it so. I also tried searching it on google but found images which completely contradicts the relation between lambda and refractive index. (image) Here when the human has passed a beam of green light through a bottle of oil then the colour has changed from green to red this means that refractive index is directly proportional to lambda as a light of lower wavelength has change to light of higher wavelength which is not true. I have been working on the problem from the last two weeks . I would admire you if you would clarify my doubt on board . thank you sir

Sir as you explained that the charge q is moving to the plate of capacitor so it shows deflection in the Ammeter It is okk but sir as we know that positive charge doesn't flow ,but here from the positive terminal of the cell positive charge flow and get stored in the positive plate how it is ؟ Sir by the same way my teacher also explained that due to the accumulation of opposite charges on both the plate from the battery Displacement current is produced I am so confused by taking the same that how positive change flow to the positive plate sir please
@hcverma2928
@hcverma2928 Год назад
This is equivalent way of describing. In reality electrons flow from the positive plate and go into the positive terminal of the battery. They then travel through the battery and come out of the negative terminal and then go to the negative plate of the capacitor.

@H C VERMA Sir🙏🏻 I 'm in 9th Standard and i have a doubt can you please help me to clear this *DOUBT :-* If we take an example of pencil and the earth since the earth is attracting a pencil with some force and according to Newton's third law of motion here also the pencil will also attract the earth with same force but since the mass of earth is larger than that of pencil that's why the pencil gets attracted towards Earth and falls on it. On the other hand.. *We know that Earth attracts moon and by the Newton's third law of motion the moon also attracts Earth since the mass of earth is greater than the moon then why the moon does not get attracted towards Earth and falls on earth's surface?*

Due to its circular motion.......bro....as you're in class 9 th......so,i think you don't know about...the forces acting on body in circular motion........and how these bodies, where balance there........ Actually there's is strong force equilibrium between gravitational pull and centrifugal forces
@ThePhysicsTrain
@ThePhysicsTrain Год назад
@Pranav, the actual answer is an interplay between the type of force that gravity is, and conservation of angular momentum. Gravity is a conservative force which acts centrally. Consider Earth as origin, then there is no torque on moon due to gravity of earth, therefore according to conservation of angular momentum, there is no change in angular momentum of the moon, so it continues to rotate around the Earth. Had it been not rotating to begin with, i.e. since the time of it's creation, it would have fallen on the Earth. So in short, it could be said that it's not falling on Earth, since it began rotating when it was born and since nothing is stopping it from doing so, it will continue to rotate around the Earth. @ultimate racer: The sentence of yours: "there's is strong force equilibrium between gravitational pull and centrifugal forces" is not right. Moon is in an elliptical orbit around the Earth. That means that every moment it's direction/velocity is changing. This means that there is net force on moon which is causing change in it's direction/velocity. Force due to gravity is the centripetal acceleration, and this centripetal acceleration causes the moon to change its direction/velocity every moment while it is orbiting around the Earth. But for the sake of argument let's say that your statement is right, then there is no net force on the moon, therefore it should move in straight line, which it doesn't. If you liked my answer you might want to take a look at videos of my channel where I make physics related videos: www.youtube.com/@thephysicstrain

Sir, can swahchild radius can easily calculate with a simple assumption i.e escape velocity of given mass can be greater than speed of light but if we take here escape velocity as speed of light(C). Now we put escape velocity i.e C in Simple equation of class11 [v = √(2GM/r)] From here our value of radius when a mass is contract such that its velocity is equal to speed of light. And really we found r = (√2GM)/c^2 Which absolutely match with swachhchild radius? Sir plz give me my answer.

Sir why our indian education don't discuss the truth about electricity. They just assume a steady state current and doesn't discusses why a uniform electric field gets established all along the current carrying wire which drives the current. They tell us that electric field is established by battery but if that's true electric field will drop at large distance and so is the current but that doesn't happen. Please address this issue and check out "Veritasium's (who is a popular youtuber and physicist )video on electricity and surface charges on wires for more detail"

Hello sir I have a doubt Why will the charge flow from the battery when the circuit is not closed? Battery works when the circuit is completed right? Then why does it takes e from the capacitor Kindly reply to my query 🙏

Sir please reply to me that in calculaton of capacitance of parallel plate capacitor we consider the electric field due to a conducting plate is Sigma/2epsilon,,but according to gauss theorem we know that for a conducting plate the field is sigma/epsilon.....why this happen please answer my question sir
