Currently Inked Fountain pens for June 2024 🖋️💛 

Thank you! I was sleeping on whether to return the Hongdian or not and decided to pack it up this morning. I ended up uninking it and inked the Goose Poupon in my TWSBI mini Classic with fine nib and it writes so smooth! I am loving all the inks you sent and am looking forward to trying that Robert Oster Cherry Blossom again after I add the white lightning to it 🖋️😆🌷. I must also add the the temptation to purchase all of the TWSBI’s is so real too 😂!

The struggle is real 😆🫶. What is your favorite Pilot Iroshizuku ink color?

@@Faithandfountainpens right now my favorite is the irohizuku tsutsuji - I have had a big bottle for over a year and never even put it in a pen, but this weekend I put it in my Twsbi Diamond sunset yellow - bold nib (wishing it was a stub) and I love the bright happy color and smooth flow of the ink I had put Diamine ink color celebration in that pen first - (I am an emotional ink identifier 🤪 and thought celebration went with sunset - since I live in south Florida and used to drive down to key west frequently and loved the sunset celebrations there) - anyway I loved that ink as a sample - really pretty and I happily put it in my pen, but was so unhappy with it as a writer: too pale, shimmer caused pen to skip and my writing never reflected any of the pretty shading that was part of my big ink splatter swatch. I tried to force myself to like it but finally gave up yesterday

@@SuSuSham I have heard so many great things about tsutsuji! Dark pink is the way too go! I am going to try it in the near future. I love that pen and ink combo! Sounds so beautiful! I can relate as far as chasing colors based on emotions. I am the same way down to the pen I ink up 😆! Also, I used to live in central Florida! Do you have an Instagram account that you post photos of your pen and ink combos?

Thanks for the info! I ended up returning the Hongdian however will keep this in mind if I decide to purchase another one. Thank you re: ink selections. Do you have a favorite brown fountain ink?

@@Faithandfountainpens Not really. I don’t generally think in terms of a favorite, rather favorites like Pelikan Brilliant Brown, Diamine Espresso, Herbin Lie de The, and Monteverde Canyon Rust.

@@Rgc571 I also enjoy Monteverde Canyon Rust! A friend sent me a sample of Diamine Expresso and i am looking forward to trying that! I have had Pelikan Brilliant Brown on my list to try so thank you for reminding me about it 🙏😊. Going to check out Herbin Lie de The now 🤩.
