Love this band. They were a really random find/recommendation on Spotify last year and I absolutely love their sound. Gives me that 2000’s Metalcore vibe with a fresh take. 🤘🏻
"Craig Anderson" I am also starting to listen to them as I have started to listen to some stuff from SharpTone mostly because bands like Caskets and Holding Absence are on there
You definitely need to do a deep dive into Currents they are amazing! 2 of my top 5 favorite albums of all time are by this band, The Way It Ends and The Place I Feel Safest. So many great songs to recommend but I feel like you guys would really appreciate Better Days, would love to see your reaction to that.
I love Currents, I discovered their instrumentals before I realized they have vocals. also one of the guitarists is Chris Wiseman from Shadow of Intent, hence the banger guitar work
I’m not gonna lie boys….I’m really upset I didn’t get to hear the lord of the rings talk lol. I’m a huge LOTR fan and thought you might talk about the show. Damn you for the tease haha. Side note: I was equally as upset when Winston chose Dumbledore over Gandalf. It hurt more than him cancelling the last US tour for me lol.
It's funny how you mentioned that they sound a bit like Aviana, since the latest Aviana stuff sounds A TON like Currents album The Place I Feel Safest. Currents are 100% a big inspiration for Aviana.
Johnny brought up the Imminence vibe 😛, but yeah, I was thinking the same thing watching the vid. Even his higher screams had a bit of Eddies sound as well.
saw these dudes live when they opened for Parkway Drive and Memphis May Fire. These guys are no joke and this song is probably one of the hardest they've dropped.
This band has some songs that will rip your face off. One of my fav bands forsure. A deep dive must be done. Into Disrepair, Monsters, Sleep Apnea, Kill the Ache etc. Their lead guitarist does so many cool things.
Currents is fantastic, and I've honestly been listening to them longer than Aviana or Imminence, surprisingly. If you've never listened to them before, I highly recommend going and listening to The Way It Ends, which was their last album they released.
Started listening a few years ago and they’ve matured so much just in the last 3 albums. Go back and listen to “the place I feel safest” (which still fuckin shreds) and compare it to their new stuff and see how they really fine tune everything. I love them honestly Ive had at least 3 of their songs on my “on repeat “ playlist at any given time for the past 4 years
I am a huge Architects fan, but the guys have developed in a different direction lately - no judgement here. When I want aggressive, emotional vocals and screams, I tend to listen to Currents or Imminence now.
