You can actually make this a lot easier if you use NC Blue, SST Red, and Irida. SST Red has a sync grid that allows him to lower the speed of opponents whenever he hits a paralyzed opponent, and on top of Irida'a Icy Wind, it will help make speed lowers even more fair, and as long as the speed is not risen or at netural of opponents, their defense and special defense will not be risen. You can use NC Blue to deal confusion, flinches, and use to help lower attack of opponents, as well as raise all allies defense. Red and Irida can be used to lower opponents speed, While Red also lowers all opponents Defense & Special Defense, and Irida can use the ice wish & hail to help handle the sandstorms. Even with a busted team like that, it is still mostly RNG on the damage outputs, but this team should be easier if you are struggling to do high enough damage & keep enemies Speed at -1 or less.
Looks like I'm gonna have to wait to 3/5 irida to beat this.. For those that don't have nc red/don't have him at 3/5 but have nc blue and irida at 3/5, ghetsis is a good replacement. There's a clear with ghetsis in the replays.
as long as you can constantly reduce their speed and get rid of sandstorm at the right time, you don't really need NC Red, just Irida the most important one, I saw someone using Ghetsis as the main damage dealer in the replay
Gave this a go when it first came out with this team. Just need to time the ice zones perfectly to remove sandstorm at 80% and 50% HP. I got unlucky and both sandstorms lined up with Earthquake attacks. Turning HP % on would defiantly help with this one!
They probably thought "oh, we don't want to have taken down easely with articuno and Glaceon, so let's make it stronger", without thinking that it would be impossible with non broken units. The difficulty of these ub is so imbalanced
