it's so great when someone is passionate about a niche hobby like this and even better when you do a public service like this just for the love of the game. I wish they just announced something concrete rather than fans having to piece things together. I'm worried that the whole system will fall apart but this gives me a faint sense of hope. thank you for the video , man.
Glad to hear, the previews Danielle is doing with people like Dork Tales, Rolling Nomads, Fiendish Foundation, and Queen's Court Gaming delve a lot more into the game. There is still a bit of coy winking at the audience, but we now know what every Hungery Family is about because of them (I haven't sat and watched all of them yet).
Thank you for sharing :D I've been super excited for Curseborne and hunting down as much information as I can since it became a new hyperfocus for me. It's nice to see us getting a lot more information on what the game is and what options we have for play. I really love the take on Sorcerers which is usually the kind of splat in monster/urban fantasy i find hardest to be interested in. I wish the Kickstarter was sooner -because I really want my hands on the manuscript to try running something!- but October is definitely very apt vibes wise.

I’m hopeful that it’ll be out sooner. I heard 2020 really hurt their physical book production. But I don’t think we’ll have to worry about that. And I’d be really excited with a manuscript. 😅 I bought the at the gates Ashcan and it was really fun as a one-shot.
From what I understand it's basically a new game that tries to continue the spirit of CofD, possibly to salvage what they can from it because Paradox won't let them continue proper CofD games officially. Buuut I admit I'm not 100% sure

@@JonLane Surely the best way would be to continue buying CofD stuff, both from Onyx Path and fanmade stuff? I don't want to deter people from Curseborne, but Paradox is a company and presumably will be happy to back CofD if that seems like it's going to make money for them. (Although I admit I'm not completely sure how this works. Presumably they get money when OnyxPath sells CofD stuff?)
