The film is like this due to the fact of copyright, there is nothing wrong with the quality of this film that was made over 20 yrs ago, Thank u FroggyFlix for the upload ^_^
I don't mind the choppy sound, kind of like it. It reminds me of those old school projectors the teachers used back in the day. They had the same sound, life was better back then. As for the movie so far so good.
A pretty good movie! However, the quality of the actual film was choppy & skipping ALOT! Which caused a lot of words to be distorted or completely blocked out! It's too bad really, bc I would have really enjoyed this movie, otherwise! It wasn't a repeat of the same old thing & was actually kind of unique as Horror Movies go! If you're really patient in your Pursuit of the outcome of the story then you can enjoy the gist of the movie, skips & all!
Despite the awful sounds issues with this upload, I really enjoyed this movie. I've seen nothing but bad reviews for it, but couldn't disagree more. Very interesting story. It helps that I'm someone who loves a good slow-burn.
I've been watching your channel without realizing it, mostly shares from others. I'm subbing now because your collection rocks! I missed all of these movies, working, going to school - working on my thesis, so no time for the boob-tube. Now I am retired and I'm driving my hubby nuts with the bingeing. At least the remote battles are over. They usually ended up in tickling and laughing together. LOL So I got him the Smithsonian Channel. Confusion abounds in this film....where did this so-called ``sexton`` really come from? Maybe he just took over the church when he saw that the priest was dead? I think that all 3 lines of plot will eventually come together....but the terrible audio and video quality made it difficult to concentrate.... It is recorded at 480p...so,I am presuming that this was copied, from an already..... very poorly recorded copy. I guess that I was wrong about it all making sense soon...I only have several minutes left....with the sound at its worse....I have yet to understand what this movie has been leading up to! I am not,usually... so obtuse
Especially the scenes where the sextant is telling the new priest about how we worshiped the wrong god are jumpy and the sounds cut in and out. From there it only gets worse.
This has good pirmus for story director just did connect the dots. Editor didn't pickup on the important parts. story line sucks to many cleesa lines. I believe they sold the idea and hurried up to finish and never cared about art of making a good film. very sad. gives indie film makers a bad name.
The sound itself; when it was working; wasn't bad at all, it was the dropping out that was the problem. I haven't seen this before, but I got the feeling parts of the actual film were missing, Things seemed to jump around a tad. I wouldn't say it was entirely bad, but it was too low-key I thought. There was no eeriness at all for me and it felt like a less interesting version of The Keep.
Sound is awful and I haven't seen anything Supernatural maybe I missed something because I am playing a game while this is on it's certainly not an 80s movie if there was it would be cool as a matter of fact there is one called curse I believe I'm sure well maybe LOL ,???!!®
The sound is totally annoying making it really difficult to watch and I'll add to the bad reports. I might be a great story, but it takes way too long to tell it. For me, the sound makes it difficult to even deal with the story line. Stopped watching about halfway through.
I could muscle through the blurry picture and the distorted sound, but the plot is boring and the movie's pacing is so turgid and slow. One of the most boring movies ever. It's supposed to be one hour and twenty seven minutes, but it felt as though I've been watching it for three days.
