In my opinion the video is very good, very explanatory and specific. The video talks about transitive and instransitive verbs. Transitive verbs are verbs that require a direct object, that is, a direct object on which the subject performs the action. I love RU-vid, because I can learn English like in the video already seen. When the afternoon came, the teacher asked us to watch this video. On the other hand, intransitive verbs are those that cannot have a direct object, because the action cannot happen on something or someone. For example: walk, park, go out. I walked around for minutes watching the video and made progress with my learning.

La diferencia entre ambos varia en su uso, como por ejemplo. - Utilizamos NO cuando respondemos a preguntas: No, she is not my friend. - también se utiliza cuando va precedido de un sustantivo que no tiene artículo. como por ejemplo lo que mencionaste "...have no object" Sin embargo NOT se utiliza cuando - Va precedido de un sustantivo que está acompañado de un artículo por ejemplo: My friend is NOT THE REASON of this argument. Hola Sebas. Es cierto que los linking verbs no pueden tener Objeto Directo, ya que ellos enlazan a su sujeto con un adjetivo o sustantivo mediante estos "linking verbs" como por ejemplo lo es el verbo TO BE. Sin embargo debemos recordar que los "linking verbs" pueden ir seguidos de /NOUN PHRASES/ , /ADJECTIVES PHRASES/. /ADVERB PHRASES/,and / PREPOSITIONAL PHRASES/ para dar información de un sujeto. En la oración que mencionas " This flower is for you" Tenemos a un sustantivo "Flower". linking ver "is" y un prepositional phrase "for you". Ahora según la definición los prepositional phrases son un grupo de palabras que consisten en una preposición, su objeto y algunos modificadores. Habiendo dicho esto entonces concluimos que "you" vendría ser un objeto de la PREPOSICION "for" es por ello que podemos usar pronombres objeto como "her", "him", "you", etc. Con respecto a la primera oración "am" es un auxiliar, el verbo de la oración es " to send" esto quiere decir que si podemos identificar objetos en esa oración.
