I soooo love this show. I was born 1964 & hate that society still wants to point blam on white. I do my best not to see different colors but to see us as equals, so we can move forward. I wasn’t born during slavery, and neither were our children. We didn’t raise our kids on color or skin. Our sons best friend since day care. Black, Indian & now mixed. His friend now, won’t identify as black or white cause he loves both his parents & family members. Our daughters friend since day care is Hispanic. After 30 years of being married & 3 kids my brother-in-law came out and living his life. Our niece and nephew also came out. And I married into a Catholic family. I love them all. I don’t judge them and tell them that they are now adults and need to find their own path and religion that suits the. My husband and I will never judge them, and we will always accept them for who they are. They educated us and we live them.

Now his sister thinks they’re gonna make fun of her kid for that, but if she’s actually been paying close attention, it’s 2004 anymore. People are excepting this kind of lifestyle, like people don’t get made fun of it as much as they use to… like I don’t believe or agree with the lifestyle, I’m just saying though, her kids will not be made fun of for it in which I hope it does not affect them in any way.
