My parents were immigrants to this great country. They fled a war torn land. Dad was a police lieutenant and mom was an accountant. It took them 16 years to be granted to come to the US after many applications, background checks and various health screenings. That’s what i think represents a nation of immigrants when referring to America. You have to do it the right way.

Employers should be liable for hiring undocumented people. I know they were doing that in Texas in the late 70s. Unfortunately, it did not stop people from hiring undocumented workers but it slowed it down a lot. Should have stuck with completing the fence and making it even more secure. Our country have been basically flooded. And now they want free handout. I understand that they come from hardship but we are going through hardships ourselves. As an African American man I voted for Curtis for mayor the first time and I'd do it again if he would run again. There are very few hardcore, stand up American people left to tell it like it is in the defense of the average working American. NYC learning the hard way and I LOVE it. Texas, where I’m at, was screaming that opening the border was a stupid idea. NY was like “peace and love” type crap. “Let them come.
