The fact that this man to this day, has people wondering if this movie was real or not is brilliant!!!! How many big budget movies can have you gripped from beginning to end??? Back 2012 i watched pt 1 from beginning to end- eyes never left the screen! If Tarintino had made this film it would be considered great cinematography and all type of praises! For this reason is why i salute the brova! We need to support our people especially when they trying to do the right thing.

Gang Tapes and Snow on tha Bluff were like the first gang movies I ever watched, back when Netflix was still in it's infancy, and both really opened my eyes to what life in the hood looks like. Made me feel extremely grateful to have the life I do. Both were amazing movies.

I didnt live on "the bluff", vine city, but i lived literally 2 streets down off of northside drive. The movie isnt real, but its an accurate depiction of what often goes on in the inner city of atlanta (and many other cities). Its as real as it can get without actually being real.

I really love to hear the perseverance stories of young brothas doing their thing. I liked the movie Snow in da Bluff, it was weird at first but it was good and I seen the second one which was good but not better than the first one.

Urban drama or hood movies as some call them date back to the early 1970's. The story of life in the ghetto has been told countless times and for this reason a filmmaker must take care not to repeat what other artist have done and not get caught up in stereotypes. Snow on the Bluff is not a repeat of the past nor is it an exercise in stereotypes but rather a paean to urban America. I never once got the impression this film was self-righteous. These are realistic characters in pursuit of a desire and the obstacles they faced. Sometimes great filmmaking is just that simple.
