@@shinefake48 O it does good work for 3/4 of my games, really does suffer in a few though, and I haven't even bought cyberpunk yet because I knew she couldn't handle it. And I wouldn't wanna crank everything down just to try and make it work. Game needed time to mature a bit anyway. Really it is the whole pc that suffers not just the 980ti. I got mine day 1 and it has been hard gamed on every day after. I broke my back so not much else I can do. She has some hours on the whole thing.

Intel knows they don't have to worry about criticism when they're the only chip manufacture in the US. And by that, I mean they have their own fabs, something none of the other brands can say. AMD, apple, and Qualcomm all have other manufacturers that produce the silicon they design. So Intel has probably never viewed AMD as much of a threat even when their product stack was lackluster.

That's some of the best cable management I've ever seen Linus do. I'd enter the contest but I've only ever won 1 contest I've entered in my 32 years. Yeah, the way he set up the fans doesn't make any sense. The GPU is not getting any fresh air from where it counts aka it's underside where it will pull the air from. Weird setup.

Interesting airflow layout choice of intake from the top and back with exhaust out the front bottom. Maybe I'm just a pc nerd but I wanna see how different fan orientations affect the system.

That's due to bureaucracy not technology. Many governments just make it impossible to do international contest by enforcing all sorts of non-sensical (or often just greedy) rules.

Once you configure iCue, you can close it and it runs in the background at 0% CPU Usage. At least that's how it is for me using a Corsair keyboard and mouse. When it's open it's a couple percent, but close it (and it still allows auto profile switching for mouse and keyboard) and it shows up as a background process at 0%

Im Also looking to buy a new amd GPU because they are way more efficient and cheaper than Nvidia rn. Maybe Intel will make a nice gpu. But I doubt their first gen will satisfy my needs

It's missing the top fan on the front side. Which is fine if you position the front fans higher, cuz the bottom one is mostly blowing on the PSU shroud.

Interesting to see 12% utilization on your iCUE. On my system I see 0.1% for iCUE (using a Commander Pro, fan hub, and 4xLL120 and 2xLL140 fans). There are a ton of other corsair services, most of which show 0%, and one that showed 0.2%. I wonder, were you trying to control the mainboard/GPU/RAM RGB from iCUE via plug-ins as well? I have Asus mainboard and GPU and just set them directly with Armory Crate (which shows similarly low utilization). I've heard sketchy things about the integration pieces.

Im 90% sure that you can use iCue to set the default lighting and then never open it again. It's not very intuitive, (I set it once and haven't been able to find it since), but it is possible.
