Fred Rieger lol that’s to funny, yeah it pushes pretty good, it usually does better when I have the weight of the old nimh batteries in it but I through 2 small lipos in just so I could get out there
Mason's Rc Adventures the cab was grafted from 2 high lift ford bodies. The bed is a stock bed with custom fiber glass finally fenders that were made by capt scale on scale 4x4 Rc forums. You can now buy a 4 door cab and dually bed from loops models
videobymark thanks for checking out the video! It’s been a favorite of mine in the collection for a long time and everyone always asks about. You did a great job on it. Glad to have it in my collection
Even thou I miss it it's nice to see it's in good hands. The dually fenders I got from member on scale4x4rc.org and I think his user name was CaptainScale.
Yes and he sold them finished or unfinished. I got the unfinished versions and they just needed some body filler and sanding. I see you can buy the premade crew cab on ebay now and I'll say it would be well worth the money compared to all the time it took to custom make that one lol.
videobymark lol yes you can, which is exactly why mentioned how this one was custom built from 2 bodies so people would understand the effort and time spent on it. The new ones are nice though and make for quick work.
Scale Builder's Guild thank you sir ! It was even harder since this rig has the traxxas tq 2.4 radio, the shape isn’t as friendly for driving one handed and trying to hold the gimbal, drive and steer while raising and lowering the plow was not easy. Plus the snow was coming down pretty good haha. I was getting worried about the iPhone and gimbals water resistance lol
Just a thought you really need to put some wheel wells in the rear of the truck so you don't see completely through it. But what an awesome build! I think a four digit price tag is definitely reasonable for that Beast! And that is one of the most realistic plows I have seen to date that isn't a split plow, or 2 piece multi angle plow. Love the build and would like to see more of them out of those glass cabinets and doing some work!
Couldn't agree more about the inner wells! I had several friends remind me after watching the video that I need to make some up to put in it. I am definitely hoping to get more trucks out and in use for the rig review videos, I know people want to see they arent just all "shelf queens"
That's a great looking Tiny, It looks ready for the snow that is hitting us now on the East coast! I am in Nova Scotia Canada and it is snowing sideways right now, Where are you in this sonw fall?
Troi Woytenko good morning sir, I am Long Island NY, we got maybe 6” or so from yesterday’s storm. The north shore where I am got it more then some other parts of the island. Thanks for the comment !
Just put my order for the new CEN F450 and can’t wait for it to get here . I love what you did with the Tamiya . I’m already thinking of adding a ESS sound system and maybe some scale exhaust pipes from the Tamiya Bullhead to give it that diesel look 👍🏻 What tires and wheels did you use for your rig ? Also what light system is that ?
Alex Maynard it was a custom body using 2 Tamiya f350 highlift bodies and a custom set of dually flares that were casted by a member of scale 4x4 RC. You can now buy a 4 door body off eBay
Karla Swaim the truck is a custom build, you’d have to find a builder, maybe someone from scale builders guild or RCCrawler forums. Just to give you an idea of what it might cost, I paid 1200$ for this truck.
' i have one good R/C tamiya F-350 truck... 1- leave 3rd gear speed alone - no change shaft 1- front flat plain axle - no drive 4x4 1- only rear axle drive 1- three channel for LED top headlight already in my channel video
Shane Pratt The dually fenders we’re custom fiber glasses molded by a member of scale 4x4 RC. I can’t recall his name at the moment. But I’m sure someone with 3d printing capabilities would be able to help you.
I remember when I almost bought this out from under you! I passed on it and then you scooped it up! I was glad to see it go to a good home. The footage is killer. Still one of my favorite trucks after all these years. I'm still subscribed to his youtube channel!
@@jasonkronenwetter5328 I believe they are too! Blast from the past! Way back in the day when we (you) had to make what we wanted. I can't believe that was my first build...still pretty impressive for its time.
