@@210Designs I also subscribed. I have been looking at alot of your build's, past, and currently. Where are you located? And would you ship if I payed for it along with the build etc? I'm in Norfolk VA. It would be for a semi!
Thanks big homie ✊🏽 Figured if I couldn’t run with you and rest of the big dogs, I’ll stay on porch and keep pushing these daily builds. Thanks again bro 💯
🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹.... simply put..... crispy.... always a detailed process and a beautiful outcome... keeping everything tidy.... great job buddy..... keep em comming!!!
This has to be one of the nicest enclosures I've seen in a while. Very impressive 6th order my friend and the red, white and blue stripes technique was impressive. This is 🔥 🔥. Another great build bro. ✌
Thank you very much Jose 🙏🏽🤝 So happy you liked this build. It was a first for me and I wash very impressed how it turned out myself. Thank you for watching and your support 🤙🏽
😀 I appreciate that ya checking in on me bro. Yea, I’m good just been taking a break from YT and IG. Still doing builds here and there, so I’m staying busy 🤝 Hopefully will start back posting soon. Thank you again sir!
DAMN BRO YOU KILLED IT!!!! 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼 That has got to be the cleanest build I have seen in a long time. I love your content always. God bless you my friend can’t wait to see more. I’ve been building a couple of enclosures for people lately and I always say “100% glue coverage” to myself when putting a box together 😂
Thank you - thank you 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 So happy you enjoyed this build bro and glad you like the content. God bless you as well 🤝 I should be posting a couple more vids soon. One for a single down fire sub and one for a complete audio tune up. 😆😆😆 that’s what I like to heart 100% glue coverage 👊🏽 It’s crucial and so over looked. Thank you!!!
Thanks Kevin 🤝 Builds like these, tend to get pricey. Because of all the detail work and man hours out in. Thank you for watching and your comment bro!
Thank you very much for watching and your comment. This box was built for a customer in SC, to be raffled off. Unfortunately, we did not get any demo vids posted. But we did test it in house before it left the shop. Very efficient on next to no power 👍🏽 I post on IG@210.designs almost daily of shop activity as well.
Beautiful build, but why not use t-nuts for the subs and access piece? Removing those screws a couple times and those holes are done for. T-nuts allow for a tighter hold and reliability.
Thank you very much 👌🏽 Very true and a good idea. Not sure why the subs and panel would need to be accessed and removed tho…🤷🏽♂️ Once installed you just jam out 🤙🏽
My man Ryan 🤝 Thanks for checking in a your support as always. You working on anything new? I’ve got a few small builds and installs completed, just haven’t had time to edit the vids 😅 Take care bro!!
@@210Designs so I actually landed my dream job of working for a car audio place! I'm working out a whole new build on my car! I'm gonna start making new videos and promoting it once I get it started. Always a pleasure talking with you.
You my brother are just a pure genius...skilled and talented on another level....you motivating me,got anew box I'm planning soon for the platinums because the box I'm running now was built for a pair of hdx3 18s wish me luck lol...
My man 👊🏽 Thanks big homie. You give me way too much credit, but it is greatly appreciated 🙏🏽 Glad you liked the design of this one. As always, thank you for the support 💯 I’m honored that I’ve sparked a new build for ya. That box is badass and has been performing flawlessly ever since you had the SQ subs in it. I’ll be on the lookout for the new one and continue showing love to your channel 🤝
@@210Designs not too much credit bro you earned that...boxes are time consuming and aggravating at some points your the goat bro💯oh and thanks for your opinion on my box bro it means a lot...hoping the next one will be on another level 🔊🔊🔊😆😆😆
@@blazed7785 That’s what’s up my man ✊🏽 Thank you! No doubt, your box is tha shit! Performance, look, durability….you hit it out of the park. We all out grow and wanna upgrade, totally understandable 👌🏽
🤝 My man! Thank you very much bro. Glad you liked this build and hope you check out some of my previous builds. Feel free to stick around for more builds coming in the future too👌🏽
Sweet build! Love how I’m not the only one that prefers the precision of predrill and screw. Views on my Suburban’s center console build have taken off this month. Dude is trying to tell me that I should use a brad nailer as of I’ve never been down that road.
In the future I highly recommend that you seal the entirety of the inside of the box. Moisture can damage that type of material and cause it to fail structurally. The other suggestion would be to use T-nuts to mount your drivers. Wood doesn't hold threads very well after the drivers have been replaced a few times. T-nuts and the machine screws that fit them are a good solution for reliable mounting. I've been making boxes for more than 30 years and I know what it's like to have someone come at you for a failed build. Fixing mistakes like that costs material and time which isn't the good kind of Hz.
I appreciate all your tips and will take them in to consideration. However, I’ve yet to have one of my builds fail do to moisture damage on mdf. I’ve tried t-nuts in the past and yes they make multiple sub removals great. However, my customer base do not remove them, after they’ve been installed. (Daily drivers) Have yet to have a sub come loose from the mounting baffle, using these screws choose. I’ve been building for just a long bro and know one thing for sure. There’s several different ways to build these enclosures and this just mine 🤝 Again thanks for the tips and for watching bro.
Attention To Detail!!! Amazing. I've been thinking of going bandpass again but been 20 years since I built one. 4th or 6th order on 3 or 4 ID8 V.4 or IDQ8 V.4. Sq to sql (ish). Be in the rear of a full size K1500 Blazer. Think Tahoe style. Might get the programs. Only if you were local 🤣👍👍👍
Thanks bruh 🤝 This was my first 6th and very happy the way it turned out. Yours sounds like a killer build with either of those subs. Gonna slap for sure in that blazer 🤩
@@210Designs Yes sir! It's research, research and attention to detail. I heard a pair of 12s IDQs in a 4th with seemingly conservative power. Sounded extremely smooth. 6 channel and 3 ways up front, 2 channel 2way convertibles rear fill and the subs with an Audio Control DSP. Clean sound and volume 👍
Oooooooooowwwwwweeeeeee. The man the legend the ultimate craftsman. 210 should definitely start his own Measurement Academy. I'd attend this course every day on time. Your ability to do so much with a simple ruler straight edge etc is absolutely Amazing 👏 He definitely challenged you with this but from the looks I couldn't tell this was a 1st design for you. Your skills and experience always shows in every post you make. Wonder what's next in the Vault 🤔💯👊
😆😆😆😆😆 You’d probably be the only ticket sold for that academy, but I wound teach it like it was sold out 👊🏽 Just like my gut Bill Ross did 💯 (RIP🎨) I appreciate tha love as always man. I try and show folks you can still achieve custom designs, without the expensive machines. Customer said he never expected a design like this 😃 all I needed to hear. Thanks as always for the live and your support homie ✊🏽 Got a few more in the vault for ya coming soon….so stay tuned 👀
First time viewer. Great work! I think it may be time for a CNC router or glowforge as IMO, the flag cut out of stained wood would have been epic. Very good commentary in the video, but a few video shots with commentary would be great as well. Again, excellent job and I hope the customers continue to flow in for you.
Thank you Tim for your subscription and great advice 👌🏽If I start doing these builds full time, I will definitely invest in some machinery and expand into different types of wood. Thanks again got your support and hope you keep enjoying these builds 🤝
Probably too late, but….you can get wooden stars from Hobby Lobby. Those and a lot of other shapes you might use on box builds. Probably worth your time to check out if you’re near one.
The infamous Realdude 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 Thank you bro. I see your doing big thangs over there mane. Love seeing your growth over the years 💯 Sky is the limit for ya 🤝
I must have one of those... What's your turnaround time for one American Bass is so underrated it's sad So many people sleeping on them.. I love your work and would love to have one ..
Appreciate that 🤝 and yes, AB is very untested in my area also. That’s why I’ve been recommending them to my customers and they’ve been very happy with them. I build in my area and located in a small town in Oklahoma.
Thank you bro 🙏🏽 Unfortunately it’s very rare 😆 Once the customer picks up or I deliver their enclosure, that’s it 🤷🏽♂️ My customer base are daily listeners, work vehicles and people that just wanna add some lower end to their system. I’ve caught some demos, but they are in my IG@210.designs YT copyright prevents me from posting on here. Thanks for the question and enjoying this build 🤝
Yes sir, my apologies on my absence 👋🏽 My job kicked into overdrive last year and I haven’t had much shop time since. Hoping to start back building and posting in the fall. Thank you for checking in bro 👊🏽

very clean nice work too bad the kids today would never build anything that nice they have no work ethic and think you get paid top dollar before you get to your skill level I blame the parents but like I said very clean build hate the mdf cost is outrageous most are using 3/4 birch sanded plywood
@@sendit2873 Thank you very much bro. I agree…it’s that instant gratification syndrome 🤷🏽♂️ The generation of “participation trophies” Yea, mdf is definitely high as 🦒 eyelashes 😆 Thanks for watching and the amazing comment!
For a 6th order like this if I want it to hit lows how much bigger than the high tuned chamber can I go? How do you figure out how big is okay for either without blowing them?
Not 100% on that question man. How low of a tuning are you trying to achieve? I use a box building program that shows performance curves, that shows maximum ranges.
@@210Designs 27-29ish. I have bass box pro. I'm just trying to figure out what's the biggest I can make the 6th and still play at RMS without blowing them 😅. I'm making a parallel tuned Like in this video
@@djwhiz03 Okay, I see. I won’t be able to comment with certainty, how big you can go and still run rms with your subs, without putting in into my program. These subs are rated at 300 rms (each) and based off my program and box design, these subs will handle the 600 rms total, before dipping into dangerous performance ranges.
Nice build bro. I got a a question about aero ports for a box I’m trying to build. Can you use 90 degree elbows on the pvc pipe so that I can keep the aero inside the box? I don’t have the room to make it go straight but it would work if I use and elbow and make it go up some
Thanks mane 👌🏽 And yes you can. Be sure and brace the pipe accordingly. They can vibrate a good deal inside the box, without proper bracing 🤝Thanks for watching and the great question.
I’ve never know it to 🤷🏽♂️ I’ve built several boxes using painted surfaces and non-painted…..You just wanna try and keep your internal surfaces as smooth as possible.
Hey man. Quick question. When adding two subs to a ported box. Do you double the port size for the sub. Like if it recommends one port 3” by 7”. Would you add two of em for two subs or double that volume size?
What’up Tarpon 👌🏽 I would double the port size, rather than add a second one….Easier to build and won’t effect your output. Port size (WxH) or port area, is based off the internal box volume (cubic feet). Which is determined by the subwoofer requirements. A good rule of thumb is 12”-16” of port area per nt/cf. of box volume. Example: A subwoofer that requires 1cf of airspace, multiple it buy 12” and 16” and that will give you a port area range to play with. Adding another sub, will double the nt/cf required and just repeat the process 👌🏽 Hope that helps, if not I’ll try it anther way 😀
I do not charge for a designs/cut sheet for standard ported or sealed enclosure…when it’s for a personal build. Unfortunately, I do not design bandpass enclosures or designs for resale. I try and help folks with their own personal builds/installs, that are looking for something better than a pre-fab. There’s bigger companies that are more advanced out there that sell designs of all types 🤙🏽 I’ve added a link to a reputable company: bassahaulic-productions.myshopify.com/
awesome build ......looks amazing........im trying to decide if i should go ported or sealed for hometheater\music room.....im looking at using 21 inch subs..?
Thank you John 🤙🏽 glad you liked it. I’d see what the manufacturer recommended, based on the type enclosure. If possible, I’d go ported if you can. Box will be more efficient, require less power to get loud 🤝

I use thin weather stripping, you can buy at Walmart. Try and stay away from glue or caulking, ruins the box and can damage the plastic basket when removing the subs.
@@robertsamaro9932 😆 No problem bro. Here’s a link of some I bought last time 👌🏽 www.walmart.com/ip/Duck-Brand-Foam-Weatherstrip-Door-and-Window-Seal-Small-Gap-Grey-2-Pack-38-in-x-19-in-x-30-ft/17133825
@@chrisaguirre7018 Cool 👍🏽 Tip: when using this material it’s very thin. So on the lighter colors, I’d recommend hitting the area being wrapped with a similar color of spray paint. Helps prevent color bleeding. Then a lite sand and apply your glue 🤙🏽
I'm in East Houston and wanting to downgrade my subs in a 2007 Yukon. Currently have 2 12's in a large ported box. I'm wanting one kicker 8" in a sealed box.
