I added the chest armor patterns for this on my shop if you want to build one yourself. www.etsy.com/listing/785029503/robin-and-red-hood-chest-armor-digital
Here's a makeup tip from someone that did the suffering already, so you don't have to. Go to the pharmacy. Look for deals like buy 1, get 1 or get 1 half off, or whatever. Collect coupons. you want to get a LIQUID eyeliner that is WATERPROOF. Very important. I used Rimmel brand for a massive fake tattoo and it lasted all day like a CHAMP. It's meant to go around your eye, won't smear, has a much more opaque blackening and won't cause skin irritation if your skin doesn't like the clown makeup. And that eyeliner will go a LONG way. Just make sure you grab a bottle of miceller water from Walmart for 6 bucks to take it off, because scrubbing will be hell. Pencil eyeliner is gonna usually be smudgy trash, with this stuff you can rub your eyelids, adjust your mask, etc. and not worry. Awesome build!
@@cwlbuilds thankyou, I'm going to look at that now... I also do Red Dwarf cosplay so Rimmers H might hold on my head better than double sided tape lol
How much did it take for you to make cause I am also creating my own Robin suit based on the Teen Titans Robin suit crossed with the 90s Tim Drake Robin suit
For everything from the boots to the mask as well as the boi staff probably like $500-$600. Which may seem like a lot but even if I paid myself minimum wage the amount of hours it took to complete plus the materials and things I didn't build from scratch (boots, mask, gloves, jeans) would all add up pretty fast.
Thanks! Its kind of an accumulation of all the Robins. I took things I liked from each and made this costume. I'd say its probably closest to Pre-Redhood Jason though.
I get the plastic from a local plastic shop called TAP Plastics, the foam I get from the craft store. I have a few videos on making this costume on my channel I think I go more into detail about it in those.
